Wow, you lucky people who get to play soon. My husband just left to go pick up my copy at the Gamestop Midnight release, apparently he can pick it up early at 9, though. I'm hoping to actually see and hold the game box before I leave for work tonight. *sigh*

 

Hopefully work will go by fast. I can play it in the morning when I get home.

Bah! I give up on the free weapons. I got to the red lyrium bits, but all I see is this big, flickering black bar that keeps me from seeing what I'm actually supposed to be dragging and dropping ... I've given up on actually being able to see what I'm supposed to be doing with it.

I completed the free weapon dlc but how do I actually get it into origins content?

 

They said you either needed to be already logged into your origin account, or log in when it prompts you at the end.

I just noticed it's 12 AM EST, so I hope those of you who can access the game now are enjoying it! Honestly it's going to suck you RIGHT in, I jumped in expecting to chat up Cullen all night but ended up distracting myself for 6 hours plucking elfroots and smacking around templars and mages oh man

 

Have a contextless Cullen gif I just made for my Tumblr since I just discovered I can (only barely) run Ultra mode on this laptop which means I can turn it on just to gif his face I'm so happy

I was 30 minutes in to making Auren and the game crashed. Something about DirectX???? What is that??? Please PC people, help me This is my first PC gaming experience.... I bought this PC just for DAI.

Artemis, you need to update you graphics card's drivers. I had the same problem when I started earlier today, if you don't have the very latest drivers the game will think your card doesn't support DirectX 10 and will keep shutting down the game.

Spoilers: it doesn't work. You will scream when you first see him. I totally did.
