Well, friends, here he finally is: Auren Lavellan:

Medium settings it is, I guess, for now. We will see what happens tomorrow. I played until the first cutscene ended, then hit save and will now go to bed

 

I'm happy with how Auren came out, but the voice is just so wrong for him. Ah well, I always knew that was going to be an issue. Great VA, just doesn't fit an elf (imo).

 

I'm only ten hours in (most of that was spent in CC), and I barely scratched the beginning...lol

 

I'm having a blast though.

Hey guys...did any of you have a problem with the game fully installing, but then it got stuck on the trying to get the "flames of the inqusition" stuff?  (digital deluxe).  If no one knows, no biggie, but I thought I would check with you guys first (the other threads get...scary...)

Problem solved!  Now...onto updating the driver....I hope it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aaah, foiled by inaccurate chargen lighting again. She's staying like that though, I don't even care. Not gonna roll back ten hours of gameplay for it.

Have you tried repairing the game?

I just canceled those out, then updated it, THEN let orgins install the flams stuff one by one.  Thanks for the help!

Hmm, for personal future reference, would you say you thought her skintone would be similar to this before you saw her in actual lighting?

Because that's pretty much the perfect skintone I want for my Esmerelda in that pic and I need to know if I need to go slightly darker than I think I'm going.

I find that in bioware games I always have to go about two shades (notches) darker than what I want.

Yep, that was more or less the tone I was going for. Do recommend doing all the customization you wanna do, then going at least one tone darker. Except for cutscenes in dark interiors, the game's lighting is very bright, and it washes your Quizzie out a lot.

I'd say it has something to do with him having old templar armour on since I have seen other templars with a lion on their chest armour. But I could be wrong.

From those three pictures I think Harley Williams has a face that should be quite easily achieved in character creation! Her mouth and nose remind me somewhat of this inquisitor.
