Help me................I think I made the biggest booboo
Can someone please confirm or deny for me that on the PC the whole game is actually on the discs? I had read a while ago and was so sure that it wasn't that I ended up going digital download. Now I've read a post (can't find it now) in which the poster says she has 4 discs and it has the whole game on it?
I've already bought the DD from Origin, if the game is in fact on disc I'm willing to order it but would my Origin deluxe version work as an upgrade to a standard physical do you think?
My download is NOT going well atall, almost 24hrs, went to 17% now back to 13% again, it's insufferable
ISTR someone from Bioware confirming that the whole game is on the discs. They couldn't charge you money for the game on disc and then not give you what you paid for! I expect a deluxe version would upgrade a standard version, but it would still involve a download?

Here's a screenshot from the war table to shorten the wait for everyone still waiting for their game to arrive (no story spoiler, spoiler just for size):

I had assumed it similar to DA2, even although I have the discs, it doesn't install from there, it downloads from Origin.
I don't mind a bit of a download atall but if I can get the majority of the 23gb from the discs that is going to save me one heck of a hassle. I wonder if I should order a physical copy of the standard as a standby, although I want my deluxe goodies....crap, crap, crap lol

Folks on Nvidia cards, there's a new driver out today optimized for Inquisition, following yesterday's performance problems: 344.75. If you're having stuttering, freezing, etc, make sure to update.
Yep, just updated my drivers this morning. My computer can run the game good, but there were annoying stutters all over the place.

ok ty! prepare for quizzy-spam, everyone! ![]()
I had an eventful night of character creation lol. After working on my first quizzy for an hour, the game crashed before she was saved.
Only had one screeny of her. Booted the game back up, spent another hour in the character generator remaking her, making a few changes. Played all the way through the prologue.....
....and decided I didn't like the way her face looked when it moved. Soooo, back to the character generator! Another hour later, a little bit of a different concept, and Emily Trevelyan was born!
Again, I apologize for so many pictures, but after taking 5 hours to get her right, I'm pretty in love with her ![]()
Edit: these are all spoiler-free, unless you wanted to be surprised by what the deluxe edition armour looks like.

Okay, I was going to cancel my pre-order on PS3 and wait until late December to play on the PS4, but I just couldn't do it. I got the game at midnight last night. I think there are a few console players in this thread - and basically, its nothing to write home about, graphically. I have it on Casual and just want to experience the story for now. So far, I've seen faces contort in cutscenes, blank expressions with unmoving lips when characters speak, texture pop-in galore, and many objects and characters oscillate between looking okay to very bad and back again all in the same scene. But so far the frame rate is very stable for me and gameplay feels fine though using PS3 triggers for auto attack is annoying and you can't adjust your stats (I've had a slight problem w/ mana). A few of the major cutscenes look almost next gen level - like the Scout Harding Hinterlands intro where she kills a templar and mage, but I don't expect to see many of those overall. The Chantry in Haven also looks relatively nice. Hope that helped. I still plan to get the PS4 version later.
I'm at least happy that I get to roleplay my mage, and so far that's been good.

So does Cullen have a sense of humor? How much so? Like is it fun to flirt with him, or is he all smooth and serious?

The face contort thingy was Chancellor Roderick in the prologue. He had a weird, generic face but then it snapped back to normal mid-sequence. It was distracting but I haven't seen it again or happen to any other character yet (though I'm still in Haven). The unmoving lips bit was the elven servant girl you meet when you wake up, but its only for her first line. Josephine looks fine so far, the best out of anyone, really, along w/ Solas. Varric looks okay but his hair is kinda plastic and shiny. Leliana's eyebrows are weird and kinda blocky. And Cullen looks fine most times and only bad sometimes - like the textures aren't awalys right w/ his face somehow. There has been texture pop in for the more detailed settings but I didn't see a lot in the environment (other than grass/pepples popping up as you run) - they just look generally unrefined, but not as terrible as I had feared.
@ElderKIng; I can't post any pics, I'm sorry. I just don't have a way to do it anymore otherwise I would.

From the quips he does make that I've heard ...a very dry sense of humour, with slight sarcasm. Mr Awkward at flirting at least during the Haven scenes....anyone seen flirts from Skyhold other than the fabulous chess one?
I'm going to play hard to get because I want the flirt at Skyhold to be initiated by him playing chess....hope I don't blow the romance by doing that.

Now to figure out where to spend the report...

He has a dry sense of humor, and it's very fun to flirt him especially when he gets shy about it. I'm not that far into the game yet, but the chessboard scene at Skyhold shows he can be pretty smooth when he wants to be.

I am so glad I will be getting it today at 2:45pm, I am realy pumped I just hope graphics aren't that bad like some are saying. Crosses fingers.
The graphical difference at the lowest settings really is pretty jarring - Cullen's hair will be as sparkly as a barbie doll's and really glowy, but otherwise he's still as handsome as can be. ![]()

EDIT: Oh, yeah. I also went through hell trying to get my PSN account linked to my Origin account so that I could import my Keep save. I was on EA help chat last night and figured out that my PSN account had already been connected to another EA account. It couldn't be fixed so in the end I had to create a new PSN account and link it to Origin. My Keep save was loaded but it was a pain to deal with.
