I was surpised at that too, mostly the still has to download part for the 360. I am going to probaly move to a xbone for better game play and graphics, the 360 look mediocre at best and the controls suck for the controller type game play. They should have not released this game for the later generation consoles, if they were going to lower textures this much in the game.


The first disk is mostly the 9 gigabytes worth of drivers for you to be able to play the game, on the Xbox 360.

It seems like PS3 version on disk will be the worst version yet of DAI. The screenshot I have seen look disgusting. They don't look low graph, they look wrong and buggy. Then the game itself is reported to have dozen bugs on PS3. Overall the version seem to be impossible to even think of buying. I'm calling in after couple hours to cancel my reservation and then.. I will just sit and wait until BW does sth. I doubt they will though, it seems like they don't care about last gen players.

his trouble getting over his lyrium addiction and how he'll break up with you if it's mentioned I'm rather terrifed his romance is unavoidably tragic.  Like, say you tell him to go back on the lyrium and he leaves you.  What then?  Will the epilogue say he became a hopeless junkie?  And if you tell him to keep fighting it, will it then say he descends into madness?  The romance sort of kicks off with the flirt after he says how he appreciates the distraction.  What if the relationship is really a distraction from what will inevitably happen to him?  Or will knowing he has your support be enough to help him through?  I mean, this is the guy who was able to resist demon torture for weeks?  Months?  I wish there could be a positive outcome where he recovers and begins to help other templars on the road to their own recovery.

Well I'm not sure if Bioware would even patch it, there's a small chance, but I'm sure we would need a lot more people to address the issue (like the ME3 ending controversy, and the DLC they made after). And yea it is pretty disappointing, we all paid a Sh*t load for it 

 

at least Multiplayer's fun :3

That image looks like it was taken while the textures were still loading. I really doubt that is what the entire game looks like! Also the hair and mustache look like someone filled them in in photoshop. I admit it's looking very suspicious though with them not releasing almost any last gen images/videos.

I have heard of people even having problems with it. This is BW's problem since they release game full of bugs. They should fix those at least but before they do I don't want to buy it.

I doubt they'll be able to do much if that really is the quality of graphics in last gen though :/ If they could do better they would have. I think that while chancing to Frostbite made beautiful graphics and vast environments on PC and next gen consoles possible, it also really limited what they could do on last gen. Battlefield 4 uses the same engine as Dragon Age Inquisition though so you might want to look at how it looks on last gen.

All that being said I think the best thing to do is to wait and see for yourself. And remember that pictures don't equal actual video footage as they can be snapshots of unflattering loading time and more easily photoshopped.

Currently conducing a social experiment in flirting with every single companion to see how far I can push it before Cullen has enough. Yeah, let's call it that. I can't help myself, everyone is so hot and before I know it oooops my finger slipped and I hit that flirt option.

 

If my romance with Cullen fails to complete because I was a dirty hobag (a la Sebastian), I'll let you guys know so you don't have to find out yourselves.

Honestly, I don't know. I'm hoping that not flirting on the first few interactions will give me more approval and make flirting later seem like we were friends first...everyone here knows I'm waiting for the Chess flirt to start the romance...so I'll pour you a stiff drink if we both miss out. 

 

Back in DA2 Fenris gave a higher approval if you didn't flirt the first time. We really need to understand how the advisor approval works...because it seems to be invisible.

ask him

Just as you, I passed the first flirt option for roleplay reasons -- it seemed too early for my Quizzie to make move on her precious commander right after the Breach. Now I fear the impending doom of having to start the game from the begining. Well, at least I won't be alone in my misery

It looks different in disk and digital versions. For some textures don't load and bug lot. It also has lot of performance issues so this is not only about look, it's also about if the game is playable or not. It seems there is differences between PS3 consoles too though the happier PS3 players still say it looks below DA2 level graphic-wise (which sucks since the game is newer than DA2).

Haha, my Inquisitor flirted around too with Iron Bull, Blackwall, Solas, and Cullen. Nice way to get approval in the beginning when you're at Haven.

 

Solas is very smooth, I definitely need to do his romance on another playthrough. He's good friends with my Inquisitor atm.

Like a lot of people, my collectors edition arrived early!' Only thing to break in transit was the badge which I wasn't interested in anyway. Cat has taken particular interest in the quill pen. Also the tarot cards are a thing of beauty.

I started one asking people how the disk version looks since that's what I was getting. I already cancelled it, loss of 10 euros but I don't want game as it is. The feedback sections is quite mess right now, full of people reporting on bugs and stuff that isn't working in their game, it seems like all platforms have issues. BW however has only helped with PC issues so far I have seen ^^; Maybe I'll buy the game after they have time for PS3 version's bugs.
