Just a question: all quizzies (female) from ALL videos seems to have the tips of their lips down like they are pouting all the time. Any way to change this?

Those end credits are pretty cool, by the way - you can fast forward and even pause them if you like, which is handy when you want to search the mass of names for one specific voice actor.

Yeah, I suck without being able to switch between them, since I more use to a turn based system like in the other games. The tactical cam is a mess, and I mean that.That's...weird.

Oh, I know I can rebind. But there's no useable solution. If I do that, then I can't jump with the spacebar. So I'd never jump because there's no more intuitive button for that (I use WASD for moving).
The tab key will cycle through targets, which can include collectables. There's a search function I use alot like the old tab, that does the highlighting within a certain radius. With those two together, it's basically the same.
I am sad you can't click on a spot and walk. But for me, the combat is much worse.
p.s. Forgot to address "adequately explained". Not really. I usually just look through the key map to find out what controls what. The search function was well explained. I think I may need to actually read the guide on combat movement, but for now, I'm just faking it.
What about using "enter" to pause? I'm not sure what it does currently, but I might try resetting my keys to that since you're right about the jump.
I only reset my run keys for the moment and haven't played enough to get real in depth about the key bindings I do and don't like. But now that you mention that, I don't think I'll be a fan and will need to find a better way to pause the game.
As for my experience in gameplay itself, I already like it better than 2. I think the story is interesting and compelling. After installing the drivers and setting my graphics to something my non-gaming computer can handle, it runs smooth and still looks pretty good.
You can see some pixelation around the edges in some of the more action packed cutscenes because of the lower graphics but that's really only where I've been able to see it so far.
I just really wish BW would do something about the hairstyles.... They've never been that great in any of the games but at least w DA:O there were so many mods that that was fixable.
DA:2 was really lacking there too, and I couldn't find any good hair mods to compensate for it.
Also it bothers me that my female character walks like a man. Lol. But that's always been there since DA:O too.
I really haven't had too many issues so far though. But I think since my curiousity is sedated I'll go back to replay DA:O and DA:2 so I can integrate those stories. Then I'll want spend hours in the character creator so I can ensure she's good enough for Cullen!!

Quoting myself to keep this issue current (with a small addendum that ideally the description of what's inside the spoiler tag also be non-spoilery *ahem*).
SPOILERS
So as a reminder folks. Now that we're into the game, let's think about spoilers again and how best to have constructive conversations.
- Using spoiler tags without saying what's inside them isn't helpful for folks who are at different stages of the game. So perhaps explain what's inside (IN A NON-SPOILERY WAY), roughly how far into game it is (I wish they had Acts or something again; or maybe it does??
) so folks know if it's safe or not.
- Keep in mind that "omg THIS just happened" is great... but the THIS should probably be in a spoiler tag. If it's really that exciting, other folks probably want to experience it themselves, too.
- I love you all for how giving you are with the game advice! (and for anyone who needs, I have the game guide... which is now bookmarked to the Walkthrough section
)
I'm sad panda for everyone having tech problems. Doubly sad for PS3 players (that would be sad!Cullen sad).
I do hope they address these issues soon.

I changed the jump key to left Alt (by spacebar). And pause to the spacebar. So much better.
The controls, especially through combat, take a lot of getting used to. Had to drop down to Normal because it was so awkard and I couldn't play right. But I'm finally starting to get through combat pretty smoothly, even with tactical cam.
I miss the click to walk, though. I still find myself trying to do it once in a while.

Hell, even on casual the controls are a bit awkward to get use too, since this feels more like a shooter based gameplay. I was shocked at how much they changed things.
I get some of the changes, but don't appreciate them much. Really pushing for real time combat, even with tac cam. Tactical mode stays true to the old game mechanics but it's SO weird to use. Like why do I have to use the keyboard to move the camera around...
I hope BW can at least try to fix some of the issues. It's not game breaking, but it's pretty awkward to use even after 12 hours of play.

Cullens body language was amazingly realistic...I think Bioware has done a great job of getting feeling across just from movement and facial expressions on all characters.
Excellent game so far...though I have remapped several keys to suit me.

Cullen's expression & body language is really really well done. His expression (I had seen so far) range from that hot cheeky smirk of him, angry face, sad face, compassionate face, shy & awkward, ashamed, he is surely an expressive one that Commander.
And that twitching his neck... that's really wow...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Cullen's Movember donator comments are really hilarious!
Thank you, Commander - your efforts are an inspiration to those you command.
(But I'm looking forward to the end of the month. It tickles.)
- The Inquisitor
Keep up the good work. If you can grow it down into that whatever-it-is on your shoulders, there's a cask of maraas-lok waiting for you.
The Iron Bull
Nice try, Commander. It's still less of a moustache than I've seen on most ladies in Orzammar, but you'll get there. Let me know if you need haircare instructions. I know you're the advisor but I've got quite some experience when it comes to hair maintenance.
Varric
Well, this was one bet I didn't expect to lose. Now that your point's been made, when will you shave that frightful thing off? You're scaring Harding and Cole.

You get glimpses of the DAO shy Cullen, but the lion is definitely there too. Though he carries off a smirk particularly well.

Actually, even real combat time sucks, with clunky control systems, I do think the reviews got a patched version.
Depends on what you are used to. I'm used to PC controls, and recently played Secret World, so apart from a few key map changes it is fine for me. I rarely use tactical view though.
Each to their own, sorry you are having a hard time with it.

Oh my, the Lion of Skyhold or the Lion of the Inquisition. That's quite a title, isn't it?
Yeah BW had magnificently do a great mix. That smirks show his more confident sides but still... those cute lil' bit of shyness is still cute. ![]()
I really hope that the Inquisitor & him can be for each other, you know, not only her being at the center and he's at support, but also her supporting him at the sidelines for whatever his endeavour is.
