Depends on what you are used to. I'm used to PC controls, and recently played Secret World, so apart from a few key map changes it is fine for me. I rarely use tactical view though.

Each to their own, sorry you are having a hard time with it.

I am use the controls from the old games and not from the newer system which sucks for the pride demon at the start of game. I realy heavily on tatics and stragey, as I always am two steps ahead of my enemies in battle. And I am always looking at ways around security for things, but that just me thinking about tactics and strategy to make things better or get around those things. Like my dad used to say "You have to sometimes think like a criminal to catch one".

I am always thinking on battle plans because of this type of game play.

AAARRGG!  I played all day yesterday and am still in Haven!

 

1st - all was well, till i realized some of the Haven diaolouge with NPCS disappears if you got the Hinterlands and do too many quests before returning.  Restarted after 5 hours.

2nd - Better looking female - had to stop 2 hours in when I realized "default" world state was not my keep state.

3rd - She looks...terrible restart after 1 hour

4th - made it through prologue, but why did I choose a blond???...can't...do...it.  Those eyebrows are hideous!

 

So after work day, starting AGAIN!!  UGGG!!!

 

Oh well...it will be worth it in the end!

Really? How bizarre, I can't remember the last time I played a game where renaming saves to make them more memorable wasn't an option.

Okaaaaaaaaay, tomorrow's the big day (the 20th ! Release! Yay!). Checklist:

 

- do grocery shopping: checked

- do laundry: ongoing

- cook meals & freeze: ongoing

- clean the house: ongoing

- buy spare batteries for mouse: checked

- call Mom, lover, friends to tell not to worry if I'm not responding to phone call immediately: checked

- tell neighbours not to worry if they hear me giggle so loud: checked (Awwww, this nice old lady who asked me to introduce her to this nice young man... she was thinking that my boyfriend is called Cullen and is coming for the week actually... That'll be hilarious when she'll actually greet him Cullen this saturday ahahahahahahaha)

Today I got a phone call from Gamestop to remind me to pick up the game tomorrow. He, he, in my mind: Are you kidding me? Of course I'll be there! First thing in the morning. This wait is painful...

I was able to preload my digital download last Friday. If anyone where it isn't released yet gets the option I'd go that route. It downloaded and installed it so that when the 18th came I could just open it up and begin playing!

Oh I'd like to know this too! I was looking into getting a book copy but I think I'd rather have just a digital version. Wonder if Origin might offer something like that?

Just popping in briefly to say I'm playing on PC with a 360 controller and having no problems at all. Saw someone say you cannot switch between party members; not true. Also you can walk with a controller. Go controller I say!
