I was logged in most of the day, so if it was, it was very brief and didn't kick me out of the thread.

Not that I know of R2, as Tish says, if it was, it must have been over and done with quickly.

That's what's weird. I was in and out all day yesterday, and saw neither hide nor hair of it.

I'm oblivious most of the time anyway so if I missed something it's hardly surprising but there doesn't seem to have been a reaction/response going back a few pages from anyone, hmmm, very odd ![]()

Err I was in the thread the whole time yesterday... I didn't even realize this thread was deleted.
How can you know that it's deleted?

I worked from home and just left myself logged into this thread almost all day.

Hmm, well, anal me, I went back over all the subscription e-mails I received yesterday looking for a spam incident, and I didn't see anything.
FYI, it's happened once before that the thread had spoilers posted, and instead of just deleting the posts, the mod removed the whole thread. When you click on your bookmark , you get a "you do not have permission to access that" error. Search for it or look at your past posts and likes, and it's gone.
It would concern me greatly if it were to happen a second time, but I'd like some evidence that it happened first.

A question for everyone who had started to play the game:
Concerning difficulty/fun/classy looking animations, which one is more fun/badass, rogue or mage?
I can't decide really, I always love both in DA:O and DA2.

Watching Hawke twirl the bow/staff might have been my favorite part of combat. ![]()
I'm kind of going to miss seeing it this time around.

I am having a blast as an archer Rogue on hard. I particularly love actually using height in my strategies.

Anyone played DW rogue yet? From the paper description it seems powerful...
I'm saving the Archer rogue for my Dalish PT for later on, so now it's either mage or DW rogue.

Archery's fun on this game? I didn't like it in DA:O but it's quite fun in DA2.

ALL TALENTS AND SPELLS!!!!! ALSO, WE NOW HAVE TALENTS AND SPELLS FOR EVERY SPECIALIZATION!!!!
Awesome! I have a probably a dumb question - how do we unlock the specializations? I'm going to guess by filling an entire skill tree from one or more of the basic trees? Are specific ones tied to specific specializations, and if so which? Or am I just way off base? I want to build my mage right, so...yeah.

Nah, I'm playing mage. Guidebook say one more Cullen's personal quest if you side with him.
And since Advisor don't have approval system, he'll just not agree & voice his disagreement but it will not affect the romance & personal friendship/story arc ![]()
still, Ninetozerooooo, what do you think of the DW?

I find the rogue move where you can become invisible to be very useful when closing rifts.

Specialization's acquired after doing quests, tied to NPC. War table operation. Apparently you get to do fetch quest to complete this.
