From an interview with Cam. Sounds like Cullen is our Military Man?

 

The Inquisition has three main pillars right, they have a military force lead by one particular character, you've got a secret facet with spies and assassins lead by Leliana from DAO and then you've got a political pillar, which is all about the politics, the backroom deals and the connections you have... not just through nobles but also through merchant houses and stuff like that. And the area you decide to invest in both in terms of how you decide to grow and customise your Inquisition but also the types of content you decide to engage in is all up to the player.

 

Sounds like it!

 

For some reason that makes me feel so proud and giddy... our Cullen has become so important! He's come so far, in spite of such obstacles.

I'm glad the 'Golden Keys' sound like they've been made more relevant. Though what with the Game and everything, I'm surprised this isn't 'Purple Crows' territory

Wow I like this thread! I foolishly ventured into four others. But this place... it's so nice and not full of Bigots!

(Hugs all non bigoted friends!)

"If she is Bi I'll romance her with my male inq so she learns what real sex is!"

"Ugh I hope the straight romance isn't vivienne I'd never romance someone who looks like her."

"I want Cullen and Cassandra to be straight. Who cares if some people feel excluded. I'd feel excluded if he was bi or gay because I'd never touch them then. Who wants THAT in their bed."
And on and on it went. Another person refered to the gay community as "Others" and another person said that we have a selfish agenda. Because wanting equality is CLEARLY selfish. I'm just glad biowares Devs are way more open minded about race and sexuality.

I also hope these guys get the comments taken down.

I'm all happy for him again, being all important and **** but now I'm wondering if I'll miss out a bunch of interaction with him if I choose to be more espionage or political.  :wacko:

I cannot wait to see what Cullen has been doing in the years after Kirkwall. I wonder if Varric even took notice, I mean, he made no mention of Cullen skulking off, especially if Cullen left before the templars officially broke away from the Chantry.

Every time I see Cullen standing with the others on my desktop background, I get this little jolt of excitement.

I just have to say, when I see the "realism" excuse about sexualities it makes me uncomfortable. I just feel like this change is a way to make straight gamers feel more comfortable at the expense of lgbt players' experiences in the game. 90% of the time when I heard call for "realism" on BSN and other places in the past it was people complaining about all the "gay/bi thrown at them" in DA2. :( It's possible it's just the wording that bothers me the most.
