Do you get a jealous conversation, like in Origins, if you're romancing Cullen and the start to flirt with someone else?  I read in a guide online that the Cullen romance just completely turns off if you're flirting with Cullen and then flirt with someone else.

 

I'm trying to romance Cullen, but I reallllly want to flirt a bunch with Iron Bull too.  Help!?!?!?  LOL.

So, the romance with our favourite templar, was/is it everything you thought it would be? Just being courious about it, been reading a bit about concerns that NPC romances might not be the same as with your followers.

 

And what about the "hand-thingy" for lack of better word, does it bother the quizzy? Like, make him/her weaker with every use or something? (been reading, again, about some speculations about it )

Choosing between either side doesn't affect Cullen's romance, just keep flirting with him and you'll be fine.

I'm still conducting that "social experiment" in flirting with everyone to see how far I can push Cullen before he says something, and my experience so far (having reached only the first stage of Cullen's romance) has been:

• Cassandra's flirt options immediately shut off once Ariana started dating Cullen.
• Ari is a human, so I never even got any flirt options with Solas in the first place.
• Sera, Bull and Josephine all told me to stop playing with them, and asked me to break things off with Cullen first if I really want them.
• Dorian still lets me flirt with him, but I think he finds my poor femQuiz more amusing than anything.
• Blackwall not only still lets me flirt with him, he's still flirting back. I imagine at some point he'll either stop on his own or give me the same ultimatum, but he hasn't acknowleged Ari is with Cullen yet.

Cullen hasn't said anything about any of this yet. But again, I've only hit the first stage of his romance (where you "choose" to be in a relationship with Cullen). I know there's a second stage later (where you "commit" to a relationship with him), but I haven't got there yet. Maybe he'll only react after that stage has been locked in, I don't know. Maybe that's when Blackwall will stop flirting back, too. We'll see.

But as I traveled to the second, the blue light simply disappeared as I walked through, none of my companions says anything, and "searching" locates... nothing.

 

Am I doing this right?

Probably. I think they're supposed to be in the Emerald Graves as well.

Mine did the same. Near clues by a camp fire under an outcropping of rock. There is also a tent nearby with more clues that ended that location for me.

For some it seems you have to look out a bit farther than the mark indicates.

Not me. I'm kinda surprised actually. But I suppose they are meant to be the kind of really subtle demon that doesn't really gel well with the 'Grrr, argh!' kind of demon threat in Inquisition. I haven't seen any Sloth demons yet either, unless I've missed something. They used the same models as other demonic creatures in the past so I might have thought I was killing a Shade or something when I was actually killing a Sloth.

Finally recruited Blackwall. *goes to take a cold shower* Ahem. So all I have left are Dorian and Cole now. Really can't wait to meet Cole! I am enjoying everyone so far. I flirted with Bull even though it didn't feel right or in character... I was just afraid what would happen if I didn't. I should stay true to Auren's character >.> But it's hard to resist that heart icon sometimes, even when I'm not sure I'll be romancing anyone at all.

I think BW said there will be story reasons why Cullen and Solas are race-gated. Has anyone spotted those story reasons yet? I'm just wondering if there really is some reason or was the gating solely because they didn't have enough time?

Oh, regarding gating... I'm also annoyed that elves and humans are now the same height. So elven men are taller than human women (same height as human men). Hence why it would've been so much more work to make Cullen or Solas bi. So. f***ing. annoying.
