Yes, this is why I was wondering if Cullen's romance had a happy ending. My first one did not (it was still very well-written, and one of my favorites in a Bioware game so far), so I'd like a nice, sweet romance for my next play through.

 

So far, Cullen's romance is very sweet and perfect and just about everything I wanted. I just wish that the woo-breaks were varied, because it's the same scene over and over. I don't know if that changes after the relationship culminates to sex, if woo-breaks go from simple kissing to Alistair's "Let's go to sleep", y'know.

 

Your elf looks like the elf that I made that I was going to romance Solas with. But now I think I'll romance Sera with her, instead.

I'm about sixty hours in and I still haven't finished the game yet. xD

How did some of you finish the game already?! I'm STILL not at Skyhold xD Although I did just make a big decision where just about everyone except Solas massively disapproved >.> Oops.

I talked to Cullen twice in the beginning of the game and had the conversation about his stance on Templar celibacy. Then I started a new game and decided I would slow things down. I did my first flirt and then went off to the Hinterlands. When I came back cullen was breaking up a fight, and I cannot access any further conversation. He just keeps talking about Val Royeaux. Does this mean I lose the abilty to ask about his celibacy or can I have that conversation with him later

Skyhold takes a while if you aren't rushing through content. I'm not sure how many hours my daughter is into the game (20+?) and she still hasn't picked who she wants to recruit and run through that quest (and she spent maybe a whopping ten minutes in the CC-she and I have that and an affection for dwarves in common, at least ).

No, he's literally just going to wait until you get back from Val Royeaux. You don't have to make any big decisions there though, it just opens up the next step towards choosing the mage or Templar path when you get back. You'll still have a chance to talk to him

Omg I have played 52 hours and I'd say I'm probably 1/2 - 2/3 of the way finished. I'm not playing completionist either! I just have to exhaust every single dialogue option with every companion, and I'm trying to do all the companion quests :\

Haha... I am actually pretty quick about making female characters in CC; I guess because it's hard to make an ugly female (to me). But I'm more critical of the male characters I make. I have no idea why. The one exception is the time I tried to make a female high elf in Skyrim (unmodded). HORROR. Not her fault, really; everyone in unmodded Skyrim looks pretty awful xD

Talking to Dorian is going just the way I thought it would (Auren does not like him lol but Dorian is a champ and doesn't disapprove of anything he says) but I imagine, or hope, there's more to him than meets the eye.

 

As for Cullen... I find it hard to try to get to know him. I've asked him about the templars and such, but it never seems right to ask him about his personal past. They just don't have that kind of relationship... Oh well; I'm looking forward to some actual cut scenes with him once I get Skyhold.

I wouldn't worry, I thought how little it felt like some of them spoke in the beginning was strange too. Just keep playing and things will really start to roll out.

Ahh that's good to hear! I also refuse to ask Varric about Hawke because how would a little insignificant Dalish hunter know about Hawke? Speaking of which... I can't wait to meet Hawke!

They do not. Whether a templar wishes to be celibate or not is entirely up to them.

You know that, but apparently your inquisitor doesn't because your Inquisitor can ask if templars have to take vows of celibacy, then when he says no, but a few chose to do so, you can ask if he has. His response to that line of questioning is pretty funny.

I've seen youtube videos for two different characters in Inquisition where the romance endings were, in my opinion, horrible. As in, not happy. As in, they broke up with you or left you, no matter what (well, maybe not one of them, if you make a certain decision...) And these are characters that I really wanted to romance. But now, I think I'm changing my mind about them. After everything my Inquisitor goes through, she deserves to be happy, and I don't want to be with someone who is going to break her heart in the end. Or his heart, if I play a male.

Since I finished the game i decided to mess around with some of the files from the game  to see if i cn make some mods... starting small byt trying to change the color of the skyhold attire  so far there has been very very small progress..  (thanx to my husband again) still working on it ,  i will post some pics btw  what colors do u guys wanna see? 

 

Also if this ends up working i will try my luck with hair

Help.  I can't decide whether to recruit the mages or templars.  Does one side or the other generate more lines from Cullen?  thanks
