Back in Redcliffe for the first time since ending the M/T war and I just realized...

I may have killed Connor for the second time. He died in my original playthrough but I scummed the choice at the Keep for the chance to see a cameo, and there he was, cute and sad and making me feel half terribly guilty for killing him and half kinda glad to spare him a life of misery and self-loathing. Good cameo. Totally worth it.

 

But then, by siding with the Templars, I'm hearing everyone in Redcliffe now talking about how most of the apostates are either dead or ran off to join with the Tevinters (I'm assuming blood magic and mind control shennanigans, since 99.9% of the mages I spoke to at Redcliffe before were against the rebellion in the first place), so... is Connor dead too? Maker, I'm such scum, killing the poor kid twice.

 

Can I still headcanon that since he was so against the rebellion too, maybe he ran off to hide with uncle Teagan until the storm passed, and then joined my Inquisition to help restore order and stuff? I can keep him safe (from myself lol) at Skyhold, he can work with the other Aequitarians mages I've recruited and keep himself busy enough to keep his mind off the guilt.

I just finished the game, and like others I can see certain "gaps" - potential subjects for dlc. But there is certainly too little content of romances,

there are 8 scens + kiss. In game which has to take about 100 hours we have this content about 18 minutes + some non cinematic talks.

 

I`m happy with the Cullen roamance, but I hope on some more in dlc.

Hmmmm, I wonder if it's too early for them to already to be working on DLC or on an expansion....I don't think they'd bother tweeting about Gwendoline Christie, a high profile actress, being in DAI for her only to get scrapped.

I think she's Calpernia. I think the quest was bugged for me though so I never actually heard her voice clearly, but from what little I did hear, (albeit, slightly distorted), she sounded like GC.

Skyhold upgrade, like the garden or courtyard, is Skyhold supposed to change to reflect that upgrade?  I finished the garden and selected the chantry option (but I haven't finished the other parts because I cannot find a frigging quarry anywhere in the game!) and now I just have a heap of nuns standing around the same environment that was there originally.

 It's a little odd.

I think I'll try to get over my post game blues as well and have another go. My game definitely wasn't as bugged as others, but I did seem to miss some neat things.

Yup, it's just really small cosmetic upgrades for the first tier. I got some statues and flags for the Chantry garden version, and a cleaner chapel in the room with the huge statue of Andraste. There's a requisition in my reqs table right now for a garden upgrade, don't know what it does yet, but it may be a second tier of changes.

My personal theory is that she was supposed to play Krem, but had to bow out due to schedule conflicts.  Caroline Livingstone's original tweet about Gwendoline Christie working on the game used the hashtag #HornsUp (Bull's Charger's battle cry), and she also @ mentioned Patrick Weekes, who would be most involved in writing the Chargers.  I don't think she's playing any of the minor members of the Chargers, and Krem has the most lines out of them.  Jennifer Hale did a great job with the role, imo, but if I'm right, it's interesting to think what could have been.

Thanks guys, so I'll take it the additional nuns are probably the upgrade then.  I was kind of expecting a chantry, I don't know why they need all that timber for nuns but whatever.

I found his character to be quite dull actually. I have had little to no desire to talk to him at all. Same with Sera.

 

I won't spoil it but I got this really crude line from Blackwall in some dialogue with Solas.
