The best looking armour can be found in the Hissing Wastes. You can unlock that area as soon as you gain Skyhold.

I have to ask since everyone has their own idea of "best looking" . Does this armor add bulk or not? If not, what's the first warrior's armor that adds bulk to the shoulders and upper body so the bodies actually look muscular (if anyone knows?)

IIRC, those make you activate the Immolate spell like 30% of the time against an enemy. You can expect random ass explosions every few minutes.

I do like that, definitely something for my mages if I can get it. Especially the thigh high boots.

Finally found some decent armours for my warriors. After 35 Hours Between the hinterlands and the Storm coast, I think I'm going to start

And I got my first long war table operation (the one about finding the war axe of Trydda). Any suggestion of Which advisor it better for the operation?

Highly recommend buying/looting schematics and crafting your own armors and weapons instead of relying only on loot. You can craft much stronger stuff than anything you'll find out in the world, customize colors and looks with different materials, and add all sorts of OP effects that loot armor don't have.

(I love giving stuff custom names, too. Cole is currently rocking Rhys and Evangeline daggers, Cassandra has a beautiful Faith sword, Blackwall is wielding a set of Promises & Lies mace and shield, Iron Bull is wielding The Hammer Is My Penis... )

Re. Hushed Whispers/Champions of the Just:

You can't start Champions without locking out Whispers, but you can do the other way around. If you intend to recruit the Templars, you can follow the mage questline until you meet Dorian, then turn heel and go after the Templars. I find that the most optimal path of going Templar-side, as you get a lot more XP overall, you get to see a cameo from a certain character in Redcliffe if they're alive in your game, it gives you very good roleplaying reasons to search for the Templars, and later gives you a bunch of additional dialogue with Dorian that you wouldn't get by not investigating the mage side first.

And finally, re. advisors: it generally yields better results to follow the advisor with the shorter time mark, but I'd still take the time to read the assigments and their suggestions carefully and consider your options. I've had really bad results from following the "preferred" advisor before, because their advice was reasonable, but misguided. Leliana and Josie have lost me potential allies from poor judgement of a situation, and Cullen has got

all my Grey Warden allies wiped out

from insisting on pressing on instead of letting go. The preferred one usually pays off better, but there are some traps in there if you're not paying attention.

Cool, thanks. I'd like it for my rogues as well, but I'm not sure it'll add the appearance of muscle I want for my warriors.

I know there's a cheat for the gold (didn't try yet, otherwise I'd have got all the schematics at Val Rouyeaux), didn't know there was a way to cheat exp.
@ninetozero: I know crafted armours are better. I just don't have much gold Right now (a bit over 7000), and the best schematics in Val Rouyeax cost 3000. Though my brother get a good one for 1000 there (You can't put stat bonus though), so I might give it a try.

Level 27 ? Oh dear lord I'm running around at level 11 I don't know why people in US level up so much, my guide said I had to be level 15 to attempt to get to Skyhold, it was a breeze at 11.

 

I do confess to be feeling a bit under leveled after though. With my Lavellan at 12 and the rest at 11 I gotta really think when I go to a enemy infested area

i think the same (: i just love all the work and effort his writer has put into making him an interesting, and changing-through-the-game character. he's like everything the cullenites were expecting of him, personality and character development-wise. and he still has some of his old self inside of him, this old self we all loved ;u;

 

Yeah they managed to develop his character well while keeping his old self somewhere in there. I was afraid they were gonna pull an Anders on us. I'm very pleased with his character. In fact, I was backing my Inquisitor's words to him that she prefered this Cullen best. I forget the convo but it was about how he changed after Ferelden and Kirkwall and she said something she likes him how he is right now. I agree 100%!

Just unlurking quickly before going to stuff my face to say this thread has been really, really interesting and entertaining, and I've really enjoyed reading it.  I'm also loving the Cullen romance in my game!  I had a male warrior all lined up for my next playthrough to romance Dorian--because Dorian is awesome--but was so captivated by Cass's reaction to Swords & Shields that I may have to romance her first and roll another character for Dorian.  At any rate, I've got several playthroughs lined up, just based on romance options!

Can I just say that the Cullen romance was absolutely perfect? Greg Ellis's voice acting was just phenomenal, never before in a game have I truly 'felt' for my characters, but his VA did it. Also, Cullen's expressions, omg. I can't even. Add the writing...I just can't deeeaaaaal! Happy Thanksgiving to all the Inquisitors out there!
