Since I am actually imagining my Dalish as somewhat open-minded and human friendly which would account for her being chosen by her keeper, it isn't character breaking for me. But I could imagine anyone who wanted to be Dalish the way we've often seen in the past (arrogant if not antagonistic), I think it would be very frustrating. And even for me, it's a bit surreal that no one's asked why I was at the conclave or asked about my family, etc. No, it hasn't entirely been ignored, which is good, and it's spread out, which is good.
Maybe I'm just not picking the right dialogue choices.
I'm also a recovering Solas
addictromancer.(Addict is also appropriate. That bald elf nerd in his pajammies seduced me before the game even came out.) I'm taking a break from that play through to romance Cullen. And so far, he's everything I've hoped for since Origins.
I love the early romance scenes in skyhold.

Their relationship feels so sweet and realistic in the early bits. And I love that it's developing like they're taking solace in each other to escape all the horrible things. It's so incredibly sweet.
I'm also a recovering Solas abuser addict romancer, and I must say Cullen helped me feel better.
Speaking of the scenes you mentioned:
my cullen dissapeared. all thats left is a messenger guy i cant talk too.. HELP
Don't worry, he hasn't disappeared. He's just down below. You need to look for a note on his desk and speak to the messenger in his office. He will let you know where he went.
Okay I just finished the game and I have a couple questions. I’m sure these are things that have been already discussed but I’ve kept myself in the dark because I didn't want to get spoiled and I have no idea what page to go to, so I’ll just ask.
I hope I did the spoiler tag right.
Ok, so I'm currently in the middle of a Cullen-mance (in that interregnum period before doing Here Lies the Abyss and Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts), and

I've been playing my Dalish pretty much the same way. Mostly I imagine he's just not openly showing his mistrust, but hiding it behind jokes and clever comments. It makes sense, too - the clan Lavellan is said to be unusually interested in Human affairs, which was the reason they sent you there to spy in the first place.
For the rest I figure most people are just too busy being scared and refugees to care about who gets them their 10 pieces of Ram meat. xD

While we're on the subject of elves... Meet Faervel #3:
While we're somewhat on the topic of lacking race-specific dialogue, I'd like to lament on how they sort of tried having companions ask for your thoughts/feelings, but hardly went as far as they could have. As a mage, I never got the opportunity to express my contempt for the Circle system without coming off as an obnoxious atheist/anarchist.
I never wanted to say Andraste is not real, or that the Chantry or Circle is pointless, because that's not the diplomatic thing to do. But by playing a mage I thought I'd be able to express a more human opinion about the situation. The only time I remember being able to express my feelings about growing up in the Circle was while talking to Josie, and saying in the most mild way possible, that I enjoy not being in confined spaces anymore.
I was especially hoping to elaborate on those feelings during the Cullen romance, since it would've made the ex-templar/mage tension more interesting. I'm glad we got to express self-conciousness about that, but I felt there was a missed opportunity during the lake/gift scene. While I LOVED that scene, I was a wee bit miffed that Cullen

Thank you!
I am weirdly good at this game though. Like, people kept saying they had to turn it down to casual because they found it so hard, I was thinking, ****, I casual'd DAO and DA2, what am I gonna be like with this?! But no, I had to turn it up to normal and then hard because it was too easy. Super cool.
Anyway, what you do is level up Vivienne/MageQuizzy in the Knight Enchanter spec so that when they deal damage, they get barriers and get the Fade Step ability in the ice tree. Then play as them and just spam the magical sword skill on the dragon, using Fade Step to quickly rejiggle yourself when the dragon moves. Et voila, dead dragon, zero damage taken.
Yep, I'm the same. I started out on hard because my ultimate goal is to do a nightmare run through (although I think the friendly fire is definitely going to be a problem). I haven't had any trouble outside of taking on the Hinterlands high dragon at level 9 (I got the bstd too.....eventually, I died a lot) I also cleared the horrible floating witch women demons in the Hinterlands fade rift at about level 6 (more dying but I'm very stubborn). It was intense and I was very proud of myself and I feel like boasting and being told I'm clever.

If anyone is having trouble, regeneration potions are your friends (seriously I've scarfed so many of them I've run out of elfroot and I can't find anymore - I had hundreds). Kiting and regeneration potions can get you out of a lot of trouble, also have your tank resuscitate any fallen party members with a barrier on them.

Regeneration potions are the best. Especially when you upgrade them with proximity heal! ![]()

Was it after the end credits? Because that happened to me. I traveled to Hinderlands and back and that seemed to fix it.

Oh, he's, yum, quite good looking. I really love his eyes, and I think you managed his tattoos to be incredibly flattering.
Here's my test Dalish from my daughter's computer:
Her eyes aren't quite what I wanted, but she's closer than I expected.
