LOL I actually deliberately went outside Cullen's door to save before every scene because it would help me remember that something important happened right then in that save. I know I have a problem. What can I say - I love to gif. wee

 

That had been my intention too...and then I still had to weed through the saves, since that ended up being my "okay, I'm tired and I suppose there's no more sweet content to unlock, so kiss him goodnight, Lavellan, I need to head to bed" spot. Best laid plans and all that.

I'm trying to start my second playthrough, not having any luck so far. The minute my character steps out the Chantry there's something I always notice wrong.

On mod related news, things are progressing fast, there were a few Battle Front 4 utilities that could be re-purposed to get textures (images) from DA3 by  someone who posted on the new thread I opened. Silvist and I already got some pictures ^^

I didn't know that I had to! Cassandra kept saying, "We should go back and help." And I'm like, "But I'm almost at the map marker!" And then he died.

and then after he died, I read in the game guide that if the hall goes below 30%, Ser Barris receives a fatal wound that means he dies  after the hall battle. What did I do when I read that? RELOAD!!

a book in Haven called, I think, the Naughty Dowager's Quarterly? I can't go back and look, but it was pretty funny. I was noticing a lot of things I was finding were humorous if you stopped to look at them. Though I want to hear the one about Andraste's mabari set to some sort of sad ballad.

De-lurking for my first post since I can answer this one! I don't have a video but I can say that the dialog is completely different from non-romanced to romanced Cullen.

Before officially starting the romance, my Inquisitor asked him about becoming a Templar and he had a gruff response saying something along the lines of it not being worth it and the only advice he could offer was to take the vigil part seriously as it helps. I then reloaded and I decided to finish out the "hunt and gather" parts of the spec quests and in the meantime, officially start the romance. My Inquisitor was really interested in becoming a Templar, so she asked Cullen again. His response was way different and in that soft voice he gets, he said something along the lines of "In Haven you almost...I know what you are willing to do" and "You don't need to take on any more responsibility." This was also after Cullen told me he was no longer taking lyrium. In my head, my Inquisitor decided that she didn't want Cullen to have to be around someone using lyrium and that they decided together the better idea was for her to take the Champion spec.

 

I will take a look through my saves to see if I have one where I can get more accurate dialog.

The crazy thing now is that "Ser," the Templar trainer hangs around in Cullen's office quite a bit even though I never took the spec! I did finish the quest but my quizzy is definitely a Champion. He and Cullen have interesting exchanges each time I walk by where Ser says something and Cullen snaps back, I assume because the two don't get along that well.

OMG, this is SO interesting!

I did the pre-romanced dialogues and then decided against. I never went back and chose those options again, for the same reason. Seemed cruel to expose him to a lyrium user sleeping in his bed.

have a certain percentage of people who detest them can optionally die in DAI? Hawke, Alistair, Fiona, Loghain, etc.? It's as if they're giving people the chance to get it out of their systems, with Stroud as an option for those who don't want to choose between favorites...

my one finished PT is the second i started with the same character and same romance, after my first one, err, perished in a sudden, inexplicable power outage during that choice in here lies the abyss and the file got ""mysteriously"" exchanged for a clean one with king alistair instead of warden alistair. oops!

I've always plan to romance different character but ends up with just one over and over because once I really like them and see how romance make their life better, I feel really guilty not romance them. That's why I romanced Zevran/Fenris with different Warden/Hawke 20 times... I can alreday see the same thing happen in DAI except I'm really torn between Cullen and Dorian.
