I would have guessed that too, actually. I would have thought that, just based on the fact that he was a Templar when Alistair had just gotten away from the Chantry six months earlier that he was older. Not to mention that he just looks so worn down in DA2, but that is likely due to a lot of reasons that have nothing to do with age. I'm wondering if it's more for people who want to head canon that their Herald is late teens/early 20s that it's not so weird to be dating a guy 15 years older.

LOL Probably. Devs told Lola his model was 20s-30s. Soooo statistics say! 30!

i don't know if you can already answer that question... will we be able to change hair ingame ? or only at the beginning of the game?
because, you can change hawkes appearance in game too.... maybe there is a console comand?

There is a console command yes, but we haven't figured it out what the commands for it are like to go back into the CC like in previous games, but for now  if the hair mods will go out it will be at the beginning of the game... altho there might be the possibility to change some save files but i don't know yet until we find out more...

 

As for the  very 1st mods that might appear will def be  retextures ... meshes might come a lil later  since  Ehamloptiran     only managed to do a tool just for un-animated objects, he is working on his tool to import the skeleton and animation as well  and after he will do  that,  the hard part comes because we have to figure out how to put them back together to the same file extension... also to bypass some of the "security" signed files witch would be a pain in the arse...

Yeah I'm just going to continue believing he's 34-35 in my headcanon, because no way my Quizzie is dating a guy younger than herself, leave alone letting a 20-something lead her armies. 34 is still roughly 30... kinda. Close enough. (◉‿◉✿)

Around what I guessed, though i pinged him a couple years older than Alistair so ~32-33. I do have to admit i'm happy with the 10 year timeskip, because i'm 3 years older than origins!alistair and i was already feeling like a creep.

with a Dalish pairing though, unless the new Divine can push through reforms. In DAO, elves weren't allowed to marry in the chantry, and there have been strong suggestions that most if not all priests would refuse to perform a human-elf marriage, though I'm not certain it's ever actually stated in the games? It can't be impossible since one of the rumors at the end of DAO for a CE warden was that your cousin Soris marries a human woman.

i think it varies from chantry to chantry? it would be most likely, because of Soris, or maybe legal marriages and chantry marriages are separate. either way, even with a dalish inquisitor, she is the savior of thedas and (possibly) a close friend to the new Divine, so i guess that it covers it.

To be honest,I've heard of 20-something people accomplishing equally or even more demanding tasks before.Age isn't always the most defining factor,as far a certain individual's capabilities and maturity are concerned.

Yeah he always seemed older to me, particularly given his CHR file. But then, 13 is younger than the 15 we were told for recruitment in DA2. So given that, I suppose it makes sense to roll the whole timeline back.

Ah well. Now we know. At least he's not in his twenties!

I've just done the Perseverance quest and I had to say I thought that whole scene was done brilliantly, particularly Greg Ellis' voice acting. God I'm loving Cullen's story (and the romance with him, that's not bad either )

I'm not sure whether or not they were married (it was a long time between the origin and the Landsmeet after all), but yes, she was sold to Tevinter and I guess presumed dead if they had gotten married?  The rumor screen said it caused a big scandal, but they moved to Highever and had a huge family (of course, they've retconned a lot of things from those rumor screens too).

Dalish-human marriage may not be as upsetting as mage marriage and letting a mage keep her children, if any (somehow I don't seeing Cullen being OK with the Chantry taking their children, call it a hunch. ) Then again, Morrigan managed pretty well apparently by not having most people aware that her son was her child. The only Divine I see as a potential problem in either case is Vivienne who is mostly OK with the current system.
