I've got both the dialogue about stopping using lyrium (I said that I respected his decision) and the chess game (told him there's no need To be formal).
I really like how they wrote him in DAI and his character development.

You find it through the main quest, under the What Pride Had Wrought mission.

Instead of jumping into the hole after Calpernia/Samson, you have to do the puzzles as Morrigan suggests, and get the support of the elves. The bow is under one of the first containers behind the secret door the elves open for you through that path.

I got the dialogue and he wasn't in my party during the fight. Don't know if it's approval related. While Not negative, I don't think the approval was that High.

Yeah. By that point, I think the main story has progressed too far for it to trigger. I'm in the same boat.

That's actually weird though. Why would they have made that dialogue being locked up if You progress too much in the main story ?

I'm not sure whether or not they were married (it was a long time between the origin and the Landsmeet after all), but yes, she was sold to Tevinter and I guess presumed dead if they had gotten married?  The rumor screen said it caused a big scandal, but they moved to Highever and had a huge family (of course, they've retconned a lot of things from those rumor screens too).

 

It could be they're separate things. Then again,

Dalish-human marriage may not be as upsetting as mage marriage and letting a mage keep her children, if any (somehow I don't seeing Cullen being OK with the Chantry taking their children, call it a hunch. ) Then again, Morrigan managed pretty well apparently by not having most people aware that her son was her child. The only Divine I see as a potential problem in either case is Vivienne who is mostly OK with the current system.

Cullen would not be happy about it, and neither would be the inquisitor! I can totally see her teaching old magic to a bunch of squirrely noodle children and it is adorable.

Wilhelm also managed to keep his children, so i'm imagining it's a bit easier for mages already outside the circle - especially apostates, because, well, they're apostates - to keep them. Vivienne would be a problem, i think, but maybe special circumstances would apply?

I knew I should've specced in Tempest. But the whole concept of using flasks just kind of turned me off. Now I'm specializing in something that won't let me use most of the active abilities because they require daggers. Sigh. Good passive stuff though (since I'm very sneaky, too).

I want to romance Cullen but because you can flirt with pretty much everyone I accidently romanced Blackwall to the point where he showed up in my room at skyhold. At this point I had to break it off after he kissed me and it gave me the romance exclusivity dialogue option.

But now I can't flirt with Cullen anymore and I'm getting paranoid I have stuffed up the romance. I went to speak to him in his room on the wall and he spoke about how he's not taking his lyrium anymore and there was no flirty options for the whole time.

Did everyone notice we can see a glimpse of our Inquisition tapestries under World States -> Playthrough States? I have my three Quizzies showing up already:

 

 

...plus a bunch of other test ones that I deleted five seconds into the intro because the chargen lighting was playing tricks on me. Hopefully those can be manually deleted at some point, it's a bit cluttered at the moment.

On my pc, I specialized as a KE: it requires me to fight more in real time then in tactical camera (since as far as I see spirit blade doesn't work well with it), but I'm having fun for now, and the passives are great.

Um, yeah, I think you might have buggered it up. Game Guide says:

"Take every opportunity to flirt with Cullen during conversations to progress the romance. However, these conversation options will not arise if you’re currently in a relationship with someone else. If you want to pursue Cullen, call off any other relationships first."

 

So if it thinks you've locked in the BW romance, despite having called it off, you may be screwed.  Because there should def be a heart option during both lyrium convos.

Ah, so that's where they are! Gala mentioned seeing them all on twitter, but I couldn't find them in the Keep. DAKeep/Renata said that they're planning to add a delete button.
