I have just figured out that when you ask Varric his opinion on your advisers his answer is in reference to how much they are being used to complete missions on the war map. I have been using Cullen a lot lately and Varric says something along the lines of;

But I think they and the companions comment on it around the base also, though I could be wrong

Actually advisors get more scenes. Solas gets only 3 romantic scenes, Cullen gets 8 and Cas gets 8 too I think
Well Auren is now sporting fancy new Dalish scout armor that I forgot to give a cool name >.> I think it's like 250 or something... not that I know what that number means xD but it's 100 points higher than my previous best armor.
And I crafted him a badass bow with approx. 165 DPS. AND added a lightening rune to it. Cause yeah I figured out how to make runes

These people literally seem to hate sleep.
Nah, there'll be more romance cutscenes that comes with the main story development... And don't forget about that special night cutscene too.

I found a merchant (OK, a dog guarding merchant's stall) on the Canyon. There's a tier 3 Dalish medium armour schematic. I can't make it since I'm playing a Trevelyan but it's surely pricy. Around 8000-10000.

But really, mad kudos to whoever wrote him and his romance! It's pretty amazing, particularly as a mage Inquisitor.
I love this game, I really do. Cullen romance is the best thing ever! Unfortunately I have been forced to stop playing beyond just flirting in Haven because of all the cut scene crashes I am experiencing. No amount of adjustments have seemed to make a difference. I usually end up having to use skip cut scene in order just to advance in the game. You can all understand why this is unacceptable when romancing Cullen. Anyway, I started a new game tonight just so I could flirt with Cullen some more. He's just so adorable! If Bioware ever patches the game so it wont crash my cut scenes I might even get to romance him some day. I'm glad I went ahead and viewed the spoilers early so I could at least see those wonderful cut scenes - Yummy!
That's funny I got Varric saying "He needs more to do, honestly. Right now, he spends all day cleaning armor with a lost puppy look on his face." I use all 3 of my advisors equally.
I thought it was another shout out to my current romance and was reminiscent of Hawke/Fenris banter from Merril.
The icing on the cake was walking out to scout Harding and getting dialogue from her about Varric mentions copper Marigolds. (They are my new, favorite beta couple)
So that's what he meant when Varric said Cullen was being smug! I thought he was talking about the romance or something, LOL!

He behaves like a middle child, doesn't he lol. They're usually the quieter more thoughtful type... I'm the oldest child, can you tell? LOL!
I wish we could give Cullen a present, I bet he doesn't receive many gifts, not ones with any real meaning behind them anyway. Still, at least he gave us one this time around (hur hur) *side eyes Anders* 
I had the "Cullen throws stuff at the door" scene yesterday.
It was sad to see him in quite alot of pain, but my inquisitor believed in him and pulled him through

He's such a badass though, the way he throws it across the room and punches the bookcase... hot! There's an even better scene later (not related to lyrium) where he's doing something uber BAMFy, if I'd been the Inquisitor I'd had jumped him then and there!
