I haven't played the pro-mage plot yet. I believe you get another Cullen quest there and this may flesh everything out more dramatically. In my game our interaction was pretty much limited to flirting, supporting him through his withdrawal and smooching a lot. I don't think it's bad. I completely enjoyed his romance and found it soothing amid the drama of the main game but I think if you didn't know anything about his past from prior games, there's not much drama to sink your teeth into. It's a simple little love story, which is not a bad thing in itself.

Artemis - go into the library at the top of the trellis balcony bit. Open the secret door by finding the book and click on it. Get the veil fire torch and solve the puzzle. If you don't know the solution it is.
Open the doors on the side and go down the corridors. This will give you a) more loot and 
another access back to the party to stop the degrading reputation meter.
Make sure that you go into the gallery party bit before you go into the garden. There are rumours to overhear and you can get some information about the elven servants and there's a roaming guy that will give you a 10 or 15 point jump in approval if you complain about his friend with him. Also you can chat about Gaspard (not sure if that's actually his name 
) with his Uncle. There is a caprice somewhere around there hidden near the Uncle. You also go out onto a little balcony near the end of the building through the last room (I think) and find the scroll thing they've lost, its near the end of the balcony

Okay, phew! The non-linear nature of these quests gives me so much anxiety! lol
I spent most of my time lost and reloading. I have no sense of direction. I also can't ever move on from puzzles until they're solved, so after several hours stuck on stupid join the dots, I decided to avoid all fantasy telescopes.

Yeah, I didn't support the rebel mages but Templars. If you do support the rebel mages, you do get extra scenes with Cullen, but that quest line isn't necessary to enjoy the romance imo.
The romance arc by itself was really sweet. Maybe I just have the hots for tall, handsome Templar boys *sigh* who knows. :3
Even though I am pro-mage in opinion, I supported the Templars this time because (1) I spoiled myself the rebel mage storyline 
(2) that Seeker Lucius guy was cray-cray and I kind of felt bad for some of the Templars who are genuinely moderates like Cullen was except they didn't have a place to go to like him.

I had to reload a lot in that main quest. Like a lot. Like whenever my court approval went down because I wanted my Inquisitor to be a smart-mouth (which is not the way to go). Also I encountered problems were NPCs would just disappear on me so I had to reload a lot for that. Overall, I would just try to search every nook and cranny of that place, no matter how frustrating it becomes.
Also don't jump into the main ballroom floor. Those snooty nobles make fun of you ;_;

That approval was the pits. I worried about it until R2 told me that it being crap was key to the removal of horrible uniform pantsuits from the PC. Also click on a door twice because you are legitimately confused about what door it is and where you are in the labyrinth and you lose court approval - those are some seriously judge-y guests.
I was happy to have a normal romance to go back to after all the weird **** my poor Inquisitor faced on a daily basis. Doesn't mean I can't spice it up with drama and twists in fanfiction though
I am never, ever doing a Blackwall romance. That guy was grumpy! I can only imagine how unpleasant he'd be without his morning coffee. He was a bearded, cranky-pants with ahem *issues*

I wish I could have Blackwall's face with Bull's personality. Bull is really sweet and funny but he has a face like a smacked behind Doesn't exactly make the heart go pitter-patter. But it's nice overall. If I had to get stuck with someone, he's not so bad.

Yeah I could never quite figure out the right things to say on that one either. I got kicked out of the ball once after that dance. xD
Yeah, I like Bull a lot too. I kind of can't quite bring myself to do the romance though because well he looks like a Bull....which is a little off putting. I'll get over it eventually because I hear the romance is super cheeky and cute. Also the added Cullen embarrassment factor is adorable in the videos.
Personally, I think you need to roll a female elf protagonist and do the Solas romance. Choke down on being the wrong gender and his absent hairstyle and prepare to curse the name of Weekes.
