there is a way to get infinite gold and such with cheat engine. Search on youtube. And don't use it for multiplayer

Hmm not so interested in gold. Just, if I never have to establish a landmark or close a rift again I'll be a happy gamer. That aspect of the game is so incredibly tedious.

I'd just like to level everyone up so I can play through the story stuff straight through.

I only had one playthrough of DA2 where Bethany went to the Circle, and IIRC, Cullen was the Templar who took her, right? Does Hawke make any mention of that? I assume s/he knows that Cullen is one of your advisors. I'd be very interested in know what she thinks of that.

I had a Circle Bethany and Templar-siding Hawke import, and Hawke doesn't say a single word about Cullen - neither does Cullen say anything about Hawke. I've moped about that here in the thread before, but it's kinda bollocks how Cullen doesn't even acknowlege Hawke's presence in Skyhold at all, considering they knew each other for years, interfered in each other's business, he did personally take Bethany to the Circle to avoid a scene, personally wrote letters about private affairs to Hawke, they fought together against Meredith regardless of who Hawke sided with... and particularly in the case of Templar-siding Hawkes, worked together as Viscountess and Knight-Commander to rebuild the city for at least a couple of years before they both left.

It really would've been nice to get some commentary, at least a throaway line from him about Hawke since, the way my import worked out, Hawke was vastly closer and more personally relevant to Cullen's life in the long term than the Warden he only met once in passing. But alas, it can't be helped now. It was very gracious of him to remember my Warden saved his life, in any case, even if they only met once and he was in such a state back then.

At least in my headcanon Hawke and Cullen definitely met up during the time she stayed in Skyhold, though. Sat down for a drink, catch up on the news, how's Bethany, how's Sebastian, etc. I imagine him telling her about quitting lyrium, and Hawke being concerned, but also very glad for him. My Hawke will always consider him a good friend, and she made sure to tell him the Inquisition is in good hands with him and his new lady friend in charge, if only to watch him stammer and sputter all embarrassed and awkward again.

After defeating that Imshael demon & Michel asked to join the Inquisition, he kneels to the Inquisitor!!! Knowing his personality from TME, it was really... wow. I wonder whether he'll be around at Skyhold since I gave him to Cullen as Officer (Cullen asked on wartable to get him as officer. Guess that it's better than asking him to work with Solas as Leliana suggest...).

 

And does anyone think to Mobydick at the quest "Call me Imshael"? I directly remembered the first line of Mobydick when I saw that, not TME...

 

Seriously I wants both Michel & Barris for next DA game...

 

I might have squee'd just a little when I met Michel.  Then immediately went about doing the quests so I could recruit him.

I'm pretty sure I'm not reconciling him with Celene.  He's mine...err, the Inquisition's now.  She doesn't get or deserve him back.    I'll probably avoid this the next play through by letting her get offed.  Meant to do that this play through but Florianne pissed me off too much so I took her out on the ballroom floor.

It's his tone that killed me. I imagine that Cullen is very very uncomfortable around Cole. I got that conversation when entering Cullen's tower, he was talking to a Soldier that got a note and the soldier didn't remember how the note comes to her hand. In my game it was not Leliana who said it herself.

Have you bought the mystery box in Val Royeaux, yet?  I had to grind a little to get the 10,000 for it earlier in the game but I was very pleased once I did.

gosh, i just couldn't refrain myself from creating another me!inquisitor, this time i'm human, not elf (tho i preferred my elven face features more)

 

i think i just can't bear the thought that someone else (who isn't me xD) could romance my husbando in my game ;p

 

i'm quite messed up, aren't i?

 

 

i think it's the nose... or maybe i wasn't attentive enough during the process... but i spent an hour polishing "my" face ;A;

I just finished the Masked Empire today. It made me even more pumped about playing DAI (still haven't got the game ^^; ). I really like tME and it's plot twists but unfortunately I didn't find any character I'd have loved unlike in Gaider's DA novel's where I loved many characters. I guess in the end Briala, Felassan and Gaspard were my favs from the novel.

So as I was leaving the house for work this morning, I was thinking about my reaction to the game now that I'm nearly done with it, and trying to decide what I would rate it... and I think I've come down to 7.5/10.

 

It is very pretty, has race and gender selection, LGB romance options, fairly fun fighting, a decent story, well-written characters, SUPERB voice acting, and I have enjoyed Bull's romance.

 

However, it's a tedious grinder, horrible CC, has no replayability for me (because of romance restrictions), rarely recognizes my race selection, crafting is tedious and difficult, the story drags, and my main character is a bit lacking in personality. 

 

Just wondering what you all would give it?

I think she looks lovely, and there's nothing wrong romancing Cullen again.

 

I'm tempted to remake my Lavellan after I get done with my Cadash playthrough just for the romance.

 

i know, i've already acknowledged, that cullen's gonna be my "forever LI" and i'm ok with it x3

 

seems like the only chance for me to romance someone else is to play as a male or as other 2 races he is not interested into

 

... btw isn't it creepy that it has to be "me" who romances him? like me in an almost literal sense?

You have to go back to the war table and do the new quest to investigate the statue to get the real contents of the box.

A 8.5,(same score I gave DAO without mods and fixes) it would have a nine but gameplay issues, some design choice(qunari being locked out of all faction armor) stop it.

 

Also I don't know about your race but my qunari had alot of unique dialog and got very good treatment.

A lot of times in dialogue my race and culture were blatantly ignored; I posted a recent example here wherein my Dalish hunter inquisitor said the words "I'm not a hunter! Why are you asking me?" Like, really? You can't tell me that line wasn't originally written with the human Trevelyan in mind lol!

 

I had one, perhaps two, opportunities in the entire game to mention (never discuss) my own religion (belief in the Creators).

 

Also when playing as an elf in Thedas you expect to be called knife-ear, be mistaken for a servant, or experience some kind of racism in general. I was only mistaken for a servant once, at the very beginning, by the quartermaster.

 

It's a real shame and a missed opportunity; I appreciate GREATLY the cosmetic reasons for playing an elf (it is very important to me) but there are virtually no story reasons.

I don't have any of the perks that lower merchant costs, although I could be misremembering the cost.

OK. This is driving me insane.

 

I read (some where) that completing Adamant  gives you sexy time with Cullen. First play through this happened just fine. Second play through, I completed Adamant and sexy time does not trigger.

 

Anyone know when it DOES trigger?
