I got the friends achievement. My Friends so far are Cassandra, Dorian and Bull. I do wonder though, will I get more dialogues (of both types) after doing the main quests?

Yes, I do love Dorian. It's too bad they didn't make him bi ... ah, regrets. I just can't get into the s/s angle, but at least I can flirt with him. That's so much fun.
I feel like it's an essential aspect of his character that he is specifically gay and not any other orientation. It wouldn't have been such a big deal for him to have to fulfill his family's expectations if he were okay with having a relationship with a woman eventually, but that's just not who he is, and I have to respect their decision to write him as such. He wouldn't be the same Dorian we love if he wasn't the way he was. He might not have left Tevinter the time he did, or even chosen the same path in life that brought him to our doorstep. We might not have ever met him.
But it's totally understandable that there are those who would rather not romance a male as a male, of course. I'm straight myself but I wouldn't mind making a male quizzy somewhere down the line just to get to know more of him on his terms. ![]()

I totally didn't use mods to make Ulfric my war-husband and Brynjolf my bed-husband, beside my tear-husband Vilkas, or anything...
My character married both Vilkas AND Farkas...is that evil of me??? Oh and later on she just couldn't resist Brynjolf's Scottish accent... Heehee

Not really. Aside from some dialogue where they comment on the missions.
You do get some final battle talk after "What pride has wrought.".

The saddest thing I've heard is no woo breaks after the main campaign. I hope it's not true!

I get that although it makes me divided on my opinion of him. I understand that he's making a stand, at the same time ... the game also makes it clear that marriage in Thedas is not an arrangement that needs to have exclusivity particularly in places like Tevinter where they are more or less breeding themselves to produce the Thedosian equivalent of the Kwisatz Haderaach or something. So really, as long as he produced an heir and a spare with an understanding woman ... both would be more or less free to go about their separate ways loving whomever they chose.
I guess another aspect of that quest that needs to be clarified - If Tevinter operates similarly to Rome, why doesn't Dorian's father simply disown him and get another heir? I guess I don't know enough about Tevinter culture, but the Roman paterfilias could absolutely do that to a member of his family who defies him as thoroughly and completely as Dorian has (actually, a Roman paterfamilias held the power of life and death over the members of his family and household), and in the end, it might almost be what Dorian wants. So how do the rules of the family operate in Tevinter?

I've heard that people who have been file diving have discovered a removed file called "Cullen's dance" or "Cullen's dancing"... seriously, we need to see that. Adela, anyway to some how view it?

Oh, well, I guess I need to go back to Emprise du Lion. If I try, I might actually be close to putting the lid on my first play through by the time the day ends. Then I have to decide who to play next:
Andellan, my two-hand warrior, for Cassandra who might be as close to "me" in personality as any character I've seen in a game, or Sullastine (she has Tevinter blood and those who know Roman history may recognize how the name was inspired), my mage, just to give Cullen another go 'round, or Isleen, my elf, to see what it's like to romance Solas and drink from the Well ... although other characters my or may not do it as the time comes.
Sullastine - I like it! ![]()

What I read in a letter you can find while exploring in DAI is that romance in Ferelden is generally separated from the concept of breeding but that people in Tevinter are much more keen on political arrangements when it comes to love. I imagine it's hard to accept your status as a pedigree specimen bred for the sole purpose of continuing a line - it's rather dehumanizing. Not to mention
I think in the end that fighting the dehumanization of people is an essential aspect of Dorian's character and just allowing himself to be bred isn't going to sit with him. But, that's only my personal take on it. ![]()

Ugh, if only I could marry Ulfric Stormcloak. Talk about a handsome devil...
There's one mod to enable marry Ulfric Stormcloak. My nord warrior gal married him ![]()
I usually go with Jenassa or Kharjo (Khajiit Marriage Mod). There's actually a great deal of mods to make khajiit's playthrough really great (Khaajit speak, beautiful khaajit, moonpath to Elseweyr that adds new area & quest etc).
Back to DA:I, personally I'm playing on PC & it's like 8.5. Possibly get 9 after patches & if I decided to be less completionist. That damned shards & I HATE FORBIDDEN OASIS!!! Can't even find ANY way there with those tunnels, at least the western approach is simpler... For me this game is really replayable. I can't wait to make a mage and re-romance Cullen (sorry Solas, finally I gave up on you) & do that Before Dawn quest. That's the only thing I had not spoiled myself yet.
