Lol, you have a convincing way with words! Mage it is. I hope I can make a hot one for him.

Everyone has a personal preference and mine is to not romance Cullen with a mage.
Yeah, me too. I'm forcing myself to go through a mage Trevelyan playthrough right now to see the differences in his romance, conscripted the mages to get his extra quest and all... and honestly? I'm hating every second. This is not the ideal romance I envisioned for Cullen. All this "are you suuuuure you can looove a maaaage??" is driving me up the wall.
Like you said, everyone has a personal preference, and this mage/Templar star-crossed stuff is just not for me. I had a lot more fun with the noble/commoner, rogue/warrior, haughty princess/humble everyman angle, and that's what I'll be returning to as my real canon for this romance once I inevitably give it up on this playthrough. More and more I'm convinced that, even if I got less content, less conversation options, even one entire less quest, my original Templar-siding noble Trevelyan playthrough was the "right" one for me. That was the romance I wanted to give Cullen... and it turns out I did it right the first time. ![]()

Since I think I'm creating a dwarf for Dorian, mage isn't going to be an option.

I admit to being slightly biased towards mages.... ![]()

I hated are you sure thing with the mage playthrough, I just will refuse to click that again during my next play though.Yeah, me too. Okay, for my Dorian romance I don't know whether to go with a archer or a mage
I went mage for Dorian, just so they can argue ad infinitum about the superiority of old elven magic versus arcane Tevinter arts.
Also went specifically elf, because, through a certain late quest I took him with in my last playthrough, Dorian made so many comments about trying to be the least disrespectful he could to the elves to avoid implications of a Tevinter mage trampling all over elven culture again, that I couldn't resist the notion of making him fall in love with a Dalish elf, of all people in the world. ![]()
I feel the same way. I actually planned to change one of my character's romances to see all of the differences.Yeah, me too. How dare you, sir! I'll put my Zhenya against any of your mages!
Actually I love all the classes, I just think it would be fun to pair him with a rogue myself.
Soooo here's 3 more hairs.... the 1st one i just realize looks quite similar to Josy diffrence is that it goes past the ears and its more messy in the back... ah well prob not gonna put that one in... as for the res of the 2 tried to experiment a bit... for now im just doing short /up-do's until i can see if its a pain in the arese for long ones or not

I have only got my rogue and I conscripted the mages so I could get his extra quest. I originally went with the templars but when I found out Cullen gets an extra quest I went back and reloaded, as to why I still haven't gotten far in the game. I do like my rogue romance with him, I have head-cannoned the shite out of it so I don't even think I am going to be able to romance him with someone that looks different. I guess that is something to do with writing fics because I am now very attached to Laurel and Cullen as a couple.
Soo need a pic of Cullen in a fluffy bunny suit!
BTW Eh getting close to cracking Texture swap
I just realized that this means that someone can do hair textures! My quizzy won't look like she's stuffed a bundle of straw into a tiny ponytail! ![]()

Hair 1

Hair3
Oh, I love those! My favorite is still the 1st braided one in the first batch, but all of these are lovely. I think I may like the second one in this batch slightly better than the other two for myself.

I play on a Xbox so I am never going to benefit from all your pretty mods but out of curiosity, are they going to be easy to implement into the game for you?

right now we are waiting on a tool from Ehamloptiran that will allow us to import whatever we make into the game

omg no don't discard the first hair, that's my favorite!
It looks so lovely for a noble, I'd definitely use it for my Quizzie.
*cheerleading for your efforts*
I usually chose a quizzie with different class of their LI, because I like the concept of them watch each other's back on battlefield. I romanced Dorian with a DW rogue, and he always back stab whomever went passed tank and attack Dorian directly.Okay, for my Dorian romance I don't know whether to go with a archer or a mage
ah ok then I haven't noticed hasn't played my rouge yet.
My character is a rogue and I haven't seen any special choices.

I kinda wanna romance him with a warrior though, because he mentioned that everytime he met a qunari, he's too busy running the other way to say hello, so I thought give him someone to block all those scary qunaris to avoid running(ironbull greatly disapprove). Sadly, I'm really bad at playing as a tank.
I liked playing a sword-and-board warrior in DAO, but when I tried it on my daughter's computer, I was having problems with the lack of an auto attack which meant I had to move with the keyboard and use the mouse to keep hitting my opponents, a combination which drives me nuts. Hopefully when I have time to remap a few things, I can find something that doesn't leave me irritated after every fight. If I can't, I may not be playing melee classes at all.
So is Dorian's thing only that he didn't want to be married because he was gay? I sadly never got his personal quest
Um no..... in a nutshell:

I sorta wish I'd reloaded, too. I really thought the pro templar angle would make the most sense for my feel for the story at the time. But I missed Alistair. I missed a WHOLE Cullen quest, where he's out in the world! I missed more DA2 cameos, instead of some random bird working for Cory. I missed a Cullen quest.
DId I mention I missed a WHOLE Cullen quest?? By the time I realized, I was over 60 hours in. ![]()

Romance him with a qunari warrior for maximum trolling. ![]()

Tooooootally just squealed. My cat looked at me weird. I've got my fingers crossed for you! (I do really like that braided bun though. You know, if you can.)
And edited to add to the chorus, definitely keep the first one if you can. It's lovely!
