I'm half-convinced Cullen may be an exhibitionist. Even during the romance scene, a soldier walked right on by for me.

He's one of our advisors, so he has to be play at least some small part in any expansion or quest related DLC put out for DAI. The real thing we need to keep our fingers crossed for is that it'll give us a little more dialogue and interaction with him, and the other companions/advisors, along with some recognition of the love interest, be it an extra line of dialoue or actual romantic interaction.

 

See, this is where my pessimism kicks in. I see it as some long-ass war table mission and you don't get to take your real companions. I ended up loving Awakening Anders and Nathaniel, but really I just wanted to run around Amaranthine listening to Leliana and Morrigan gripe at each other and hearing, "Really? Another broodmother? Ugh."

I have the opposite problem, my 'professionals' never shut up. I reckon I've gotten twice as much chatter from them as I have my companions.

You just know whenever he looks at that desk he's getting flasbacks of that first time with her, lol. I bet he can't help but get a filthy grin on his face at really inappropriate moments now! Still, I guess we can head canon that from then on he likely slept in the Inquisitor's bed most nights, if not all the time. Wish they'd depicted that, my Inquisitor's bedroom got used in a grand total of two scenes and the rest of the time I don't bother visiting it because there's nothing in there.

... I'm guessing that'll be where our DLC quest statues will be kept ala DA2, lol.

I'd guess he's got a cute smile on his face when he's working at that desk fairly often now, at least when he doesn't have troops in his office

Okay I finally found the pic I had been looking for. A while back I made Auren in Dragon's Dogma, and this was the result. This is a hairstyle that would look good on both guys and girls, too:

See, this is where my pessimism kicks in. I see it as some long-ass war table mission and you don't get to take your real companions. That's a high possibility, I dare say it'll happen in one of the quests/expansions. I'd love a DLC where the advisors get to join your party temporarily, or at least accompany us on a sizable mission (Winter Palace ball and the personal/nemesis quests don't count!) Probably won't happen though.

I'd love for there to be another quest like the Winter Palace ball that requires us to go somewhere with our advisors and full party in tow to do whatever. I'd also love a large city environment for us to explore, I was hoping that's what Val Royeaux was gonna be like, with different areas like the old alienages, common market places and dank back alleys, along with it's decadent noble areas, street celebrations, and the Grand Cathedral itself to visit. Chuck in a few brothels, taverns, quests and activities to partake in and it would be great!

I usually get one or two pieces of dialogue out of them when I'm faffing around on the war table, but I wouldn't say they've ever been overly chatty, there also usually quite obscure with whatever they're talking about "did you get my request?" "Yes" kinda thing.
