My hero.

My hero.
She is, isn't she? (I would do the face with hearts emote here, but that might be creepy.)
30 I believe? I didn't really pay much attention, as I already had over 320 to waste by the end of the game?
I'd have been cool if we could have used that power to give us stat buffs or something, since by the end of the game it's pretty much rendered useless?
Is not there to just keep hoarding and gloat over?
Mooooooar powah!

Cullen romance Questions....help appreciated
Thanks for your answers to my spoiler questions.
Hi all, just a quick question:
Will there be any differences to Cullen's story or epilogue between taking the Templars / Mages route?
Which one do you think will be better in the end? (with some romances ending up leaving the Inquisitor at the end, I prefer NOT to have this kind of outcome >.< )
This is important for me because I kinda plan my game around him, LoL. Thx =)
You get one more quest lead by Cullen on the mage side than on the Templars side, that's the only difference. As for which side makes the "better" romance... there's no better side. The romance content is not affected by the faction you choose. He won't gripe about either ally, or leave you because of the faction you chose, nothing like that.
Having romanced him from both sides now, I felt Cullen's characterization came off... differently depending on which faction you choose, but the romance itself was not affected at all by recruiting this or that group.
It's official...
Cullen's mouth is a crime. It shouldn't be legal or within the laws of nature for a man to possess such amazing looking lips that make me want to kiss him 24/7...this is unacceptable and inefficient!
And the scar...oooh, the scar... ![]()

How so? I haven't played through the Templar side.
We are not 'crazy' we are passionate. I think it was the cake. Maybe they feel indebted to us?
Either way, I am also grateful to be a recipient of his nakedness. I shalt not cast my gaze away from what the Maker saw fit to bestow upon us.
And to this I say, Amen, Boom. A-freakin'-men. ![]()

Hmmm... Cullen felt "lighter" from the Templar side. Because he didn't have the nemesis quest, the picture you get of Cullen on the Templars side is that he has put the Order and everything about it behind him. He does have all those conversations where he speaks about having conflicting/bitter feelings about the Order and his own delusions, disappointments and shortcomings etc, but you get a sense that he's putting all that behind and moving on. It's over, he's trying to live in the here and now. From the mages side, because he goes for the whole second half of the game obsessing with Samson, Kirkwall, Red Lyrium etc, he came off as a much "heavier" person, still consumed by this idea of putting past wrongs right, and tormented with scenarios of what if this and what if that. A lot more skeletons in mage-side Cullen's closet than Templar-side Cullen, if you will.
Neither characterization is better or worse than the other, I mean, some people will prefer him like this, some people will prefer him like that. They just end up becoming... surprisingly different takes on the character's development post Kirkwall, because of that one quest.

Sounds like another scene we'd like to see:
The Inquisitor should have gloated over Corypheus' lack of war table meaning they lacked any real power.
Also, shirtless Cullen is sexier than shirtless Samson... and no artist attempt to call me on that!

Thanks for your answers to my spoiler questions.
Greetings all!
Still working on my 1st playthrough (male dual-wield rogue who romances Dorian) but can't wait for my female mage Astrid Trevelyan (spoiler below) to romance Cullen!
So how many Cullenites will be getting the tactical t-shirt when it becomes available? ![]()

That's interesting to read. I remember you saying that you preferred your Templar playthrough but it's good to see the reasons why and I should have asked you 20 pages ago.
I wonder if I'll have the same reaction when I choose the mages on my second playthrough.
Thank you for this, I'm still on my first play through and I had originally chosen the mage path but a bug meant I couldn't complete it so had to go back and choose the templar one. I'm hoping to be able to complete the mages quest next time and the differences you've described excite me! Can't wait!Hmmm... Cullen felt "lighter" from the Templar side. Hmm. I just ran Cullen's name through a name number thingy for funsies, and wow, was it accurate. Supposed I'd share.

That's really interesting! Would you say the romance played differently on the mage v templar side? There's still part of me that's wondering if it should've reloaded to pick the mages since I want to romance someone else next PT.
Oh man >.< Just got the final (I think) love scene with Bull and um, yeah. I guess it is BDSM. Weird for them to spring this on me at the end. Why, when there are only two options, do they make one of them a fetish...
I'd wondered why you said it wasn't, I hadn't realized that you hadn't gotten to that. Now you understand some of my reaction since he and Blackwall are the only male options for female qunari and dwarves.
Well in my opinion a "fetish" type romance should be a bonus romance... not only one of two options. It also shouldn't be something that shows up in the final scene after you've been in a relationship with this person.
Blech... That whole final scene was just weird! It was very... sexual. I miss having a true romance
That wasn't the last scene, if I'm guessing correctly (in fact, I think there's quite a bit more yet). I'd suggest trying to stick it out at this point,

I haven't done a Templar run yet. I was going to on the next playthrough. Now I might just roll another female and romance Cullen. I would to see the other side so to speak.
