So, something that I noticed about how the strongholds were made to look if they are for espionage, military or trade. They correspond to the markers on the war room map table.

Red Fists = Military Stronghold = Fists holding spiky thing

Purple Crows = Espionage Stronghold = Bird markers

Golden Keys = Trade Stronghold = Gold Coins on table

If someone sees something else besides gold coins for the Keys, can you point it out?

Do you mean the group shot at the end of the trailer? Or do you mean the concept art?

They recently said there's three pillars to the Inquisiton, (these guys), and the GKs are also there for the political side of the Inquisition.

There was an in-game image of the war room table that had the map, and markers all over the map, along with a weird eel bowl and some mugs and a book, but I can't find the image now.

I think the PAX Prime video literally had giant key-shaped things lying on the map. I'll try to find what I'm talking about.

I honestly wouldn't hate the name Golden Keys. I kind of just like the word keys, though. It's fun to say.

The Red Fist is... generic. I have nothing against it, but it doesn't seem to stand out or anything.

Purple Crows, though. Why? I love the colour purple, but it is not a catchy word.

I would rather have the Purple Crows be something Ravens instead. Maybe? Just so there's no mix up with the Antivan Crows. (And ravens are sexy birds)

Stopped for a minute. Just wanted to say that troll thread was shut down. =3

And to keep it on topic: do you think certain types of response from your Inquisitor would be a turn off or turn on for Cullen? Like a personality clash? Not a rivalry per se.... I just wonder if part of the realism of interactions would include the notion that some LIs may react favorably to certain kinds of responses? Which do you think Cullen would like better? Paragon? Flippant? Aggro? Or would it depend on the situation, do you think?

R2 posted a pretty detailed close up with handy dandy arrows to point out ideas a few pages back. What would we do without her keen researcher's eye? (Maker knows I'm too lazy to do it myself! lol) :)

Edit: and there it is... I'm late again! Ha!

Maybe it's not "Purple Crows"....I'd like Violet Crows, or Sable Crows.

Pretty sure they're just placeholders. Red Fist sounds like Red Templars, and Purple Crows sounds like Antivan Crows.

I think a Direct Inquisitor will either fluster him, or he'll approve of it. I could see him thinking a Noble Inquisitor naive. A Clever Inquisitor might amuse him, though, or irritate him.

For comparison, here are the three keep types they told us about. Note the fist at the military keep and the owl at the espionage one. Still don't see any identifying markers in the commerce one.

They look more like Owls than Crows... The markers, I mean. And there's already the Antivan Crows, so that seems like a conflict of interest to have two Crow groups. Maybe it's... The Damson Owls. (Damson is a dark purple)

Well the building seems grander and there's more banners and whatever those red things are called.

Well, I think the Damson Owls sounds pretty sexy.

*snipping all the awesome pics*

Maybe the little awnings are representative of a market?

They do to me as well. They also appear in the War Room/War Table and on top of the lightning keep from the Fires Above trailer.

The closest I can come is to this little golden maybe crossed keys thingie on the doorway. But maybe the banners are it, whatever the symbol is for these things.

Also... on the first pic if you look there seems to be a small reddish flag with a coin on it. May not be what it is but I'm speculating.

Edit: on the right hand side. Comparing it to the owl one... which looks like eyes on that banner.

I'm guessing that we'll see Cullen, Lels and Scribbles on those cards later on and that the people on them now are just placeholders.

Yup-yup! My guess, too.

I hope where you put a Keep impacts it's usefulness. Like, having a commerce Keep in the middle of a desert makes no sense. Military or espionage? Sure! But commerce?

LOL Maybe that was his original model!  :P
