I could be wrong, but I think that's a "false positive", or something like that.

 

Norton flagged it due to it's low score, meaning it could be nothing but since it's an uncommon file they flagged it anyways. I excluded it and all seems well. Flycam is up and working first try.

Unfortunately, no.  I'm surprised that Bioware hasn't yet figured out that some of their fans are borderline-obsessive packrats!

Have people really been having that many issues with having their companions like them? For me it was rather easy...perhaps i just make characters that are easy to get along with.

 
Yeah that's why I feel like you must have to go out of your way to get them to hate you, I never had any problems with any of my companions outside of the one time Solas seemed mad about me recruiting the Grey Wardens. Solas approves of me breathing, usually. LOL.

Ugh oh man YES, I was really hoping there would be a storage chest somewhere but I don't think I've heard it mentioned at all. Would be really nice to have one to store all my upgrades in because at this point I'm walking around with 30 of my inventory spaces filled up at all times. Hardly makes sense when we can only upgrade at certain places anyway.

There is not. It's very requested thing though and BW have said they acknowledge it.. but might or might not do sth. So I guess we have to just wait and see what they decide.

I did succeed in getting rid of Blackwall only because I left him in prison. I couldn't even bring myself to pick either of the decision ops on the table. I was too annoyed at him and the dilemma he put me in.

Not really. Solas hated my Inquisitor by the end, and I never said anything mean or rude to him. On the contrary, I was really interested in everything he said, asked him all the questions and then some, and by the end I even tried openly metagaming his conversations to try to regain approval with him. But it was a lost cause at that point. He just has a very set view of how things should be, and if you make choices that go against it, he Greatly Disapproves of everything until you're so low you just have no way to make it back up. I didn't go out of my way to get his disapproval at all (if anything I went out of my way to get some approval back), Solas is just stubborn and inflexible as hell. It's his way, or no way. 

 

(If you play through his romance, then... yeah. He gets even worse.)

That's weird because I found Solas to be the most easy-going in my canon (run through I do with no real knowledge picking options as I would pick them). I guess he and I would likely get along IRL. But then, I got along well with both Cass and Dorian, too.

 

I also broke Thedas.

So does flycam do wierd stuff for anybody else? Even when I have it toggled "off" it makes models do some weird things. I'm thinking this is a cool toy but not something I will use a lot.

I never thought of that solution. As appealing as it sounds to leave the miserable b@****** to rot, I can't help but feel Cullen would bring up your former companion languishing in the clink from time to time. I felt that I'd rather let him (Cullen) down by not immediately getting him to sort it out the first time. I mean he came all that way in his shiniest armour and fluffy coat, like an adorable and much put upon big brother ready to bail out the black sheep of the Inquisition family. I feel kind of mean not letting him have his moment.

Yeah, Solas was really easy-going for me, too. I guess it's hard for me to imagine him not liking my Quizzy because I recruited the mages first. Things'll maybe be different if I side with the Templars during my next playthrough. Cass disapproved of a lot of my decisions at first, but I ended up winning back her favor with other choices later on and I got to see her adorable dialogue with Varric about her literary preferences, so I was happy

I spared him but man,I was so mad I would pass that barn and mutter XD. Complete 180 to how I felt about him when I first met him (such a shame). Here I was thinking the angst would be about his calling not the fact he was a liar. I think I felt extra betrayed because I took him into consideration when I sent that poor elf to join the wardens (only to watch her die) and when I picked Stroud over Hawke (so the Warden's had a chance). What bugged me most about Blackwall? Why he didn't become a Warden officially if they meant that much to him, he wanted me to encourage others to join up and what have you but he never wanted to commit fully to them himself. Anyway rant over

Hmmm... can we not with the Blackwall hate in this thread, please? It was pretty bad earlier today and it's going there again now, and as a fan of the character it makes me pretty uncomfortable to be around as everyone takes turns lynching the guy.

 

I guess I can leave and come back another time, but this is supposed to be the positive thread where we escape the toxicity of the rest of the forums, right?

Goodness me this board moves fast! Thanks for answer re making Cullen take lyrium. I had some time tonight and checked out some vids, and I can't understand why you would put him back on it, it really is a horrid thing to do. I guess if you were RPing a at any cost person you might but otherwise it just mean.

I think we should do something, although I think it can be low key. I don't know that everyone has had time to create new works recently since we've all been feverishly finishing the game (I've been trying to peck at my next Chocolate and Sex story, but it's been reaaalllly slow going).

 

But maybe it can just be pics of our Inquisitors with Cullen or general screenies of Cullen or something to demonstrate our love of actually playing the game?

I know right XD. We have Quarters! A big ol' chest in there would make it a room we could use! Anyone else wish we had a "invite companion to quarters" feature? If you raised the approval of a character high enough they would have a special cutscene with you.  Like the Mass Effect cabin.

Talking about gowns (and tiaras) for the ball. Vivienne's soiree (?) outfit was gorgeous, already in the game, can be made red (really deep, rich red) and gold and made into a dress. No blue sash bleuch, would not be good with red and gold.

Yay! 155 hours and my first playthrough is done...that was great fun, even with bugged dialogue.

 

Loved the Cullen romance in general, only the last scene seemed a little lacking...after the previous emotional build up that is. That is just me though.

 

I do have a question...the game is supposed to be playable after the credits for future DLC or loose ends....yes? When I went to Cullens tower to check in after the credits...he doesn't offer kisses any more....sad panda face....I got accused of trying to distract him.

 

I liked my ending, Celene is behaving, Cassandra is Divine, Vivienne is Grand Enchanter, and I feel that I gave Blackwall some peace after taking him with me to kill Corypheus. The Champion skill Walking Fortress is awesome...and two of you doing it is hilarious....what Dragon attack? 

 

Now I need to think which quizzy to play next, dwarf or elf....decisions...decisions.

Sounds like a fun plan! I wish I could contribute in time but the painting I've been meaning to finish is on hold until after my last final on the 17th. If I can manage to finish it before we hit 4k I'd love to participate, though! It'll be easier now that the game is out and I can snap references as I please. Woo.
