I've played several MMORPGs, but the controls for this were not as intuitive to me. Once I worked them out, it wasn't so bad, but I can foresee a certain amount of grinding for mats (mat grinding helped drive me away from MMORPGs, but it doesn't look too bad yet, at least at lower difficulty levels). I will probably spend a certain amount of time killing nugs at Haven since apparently companions disapprove later, however.

I assume you are not looking to replace all the rugs in your fantasy home, so what exactly does "mats" mean?

Yay i`ve finally finished my first playthrough and i really enjoyed it! Awesome game!

And i loved the Cullen romance, it was so sweet and endearing  ^_^. It has become one of my favorite romances, right next to Alistair and Kaidan .

And now i`m already planning my next playthrough  :D. What romance do you guys think i should try next: Blackwall, Iron Bull or Solas?

Same here, it really surprised me! I thought he would be great and I was excited he would be a romance option as i've always had a hot spot for Cullen

But man was it an awesome romance, so sweet and cute and awwww, just loved it!

Can't wait for another play through, also planning mine xD Can't decide whether to do a Solas or Blackwall one :)

Ahh I see. I figured it was something like that.

I've never played an MMO in my life and have never heard of either of those games. I wonder why they decided to create a completely different kind of game this time around. Regardless it seems the game has been a critical success and will be a financial success as well. This game just leaves me cold... I'm struggling to finish my first playthrough.

I think it's because MMO's are kinda huge now. And it is correct to say that those who are familiar with them will have an easier time with this game. I will admit that I've been playing MMO's since 2007ish (Lord of the Rings Online, Bioware's The Old Republic, and Guild Wars 2) so this game was an easy transition.

I would say if DA:2, Skyrim, and The Old Republic had a baby, you'd get this game, lol.

Lemme see ... in terms of where I'd put Cullen in my experience of BioWare romances ...

I still have to give Kaidan king of the castle. Then there's got to be Cullen right in there vying for second place with the Garrus bromance (don't hate me, but I just can't find the Turian body model appealing enough to want to run a Garrus romance although if I close my eyes ... he has the sexiest purr of a voice ever). And I have to admit that the last kiss you get from Fenris has to rank somewhere close to the hottest moment ever, too bad you have to play all of DA2 to get it.

Is it bad that I think Turians are totally hawt???  :D

Alistair used to be my #1, then Garrus kinda stole that away. However, I would have to say that Cullen knocked Garrus down to a close #2 for me.

Runescape, WoW, SWtOR, LOTRO, and something else in there briefly whose name escapes me. I'm getting used to the controls in DAI, but I still find some of them awkward (though it'll be easier once I can remap some buttons).

Skyrim's not encouraging to have thrown in there for me, I've never been able to get very far because the PC controls drive me nuts.

Runescape hello another fan of that game though I quit the MMORPG's as to expensive for my taste. Lol

I like Alistair a lot, but he's just a little bit too goofy to rank in the top for me.

And no, it's not bad that you find Turians hot. I like Drell, but I've never seen the appeal of dwarves and I'm not sure I'll be able to run an Iron Bull romance because I'm not sure I'm into qunari. ... it's the horns. But at the same time, I don't like Blackwall's nose and beard, so he's out, too.

There's also short radiant war table missions for each region you unlock that send your agents to pick up mats for you if you don't wanna grind yourself.

LOL I almost threw up when I figured out that I'd spent almost $1,000 on Lord of the Rings Online since 2007... :(

Currently I'm sub-free and very happy about it!

:D The mods are what make Skyrim playable along with the supported controller. Which I was not a x box 360 user for dragon age, because I would use some of the hairs Adela has made.

Yeah I had to take a break from my MMORPG's or my mother would have had a heart attack from the amount I spent :(

I also thought Thane was quite smexy...I just couldn't bring myself to play his romance through more than once with how it ends in ME:3...oh the tears...

Now my ME cannon is to start with Kaidan and then drop his tush for Garrus. He had Shepard's back from Day 1! :D

IB and Blackwall aren't up my alley appearance-wise but I intend to play thru their romances once. I just have a to roll a quizzy that is either a Qunari or Dwarf for each because a human or elf would totally get ninja-manced by Cullen, lol

I currently have about 75 graphics and immersion mods for Skyrim, along with a few mods that make enemies more difficult. I got that game running so pretty it's absolutely breathtaking!

GUYS. GUYS. GUYS. I got a glitch!

(read the descriptions LOL)

I walked into Solas's room... only to fall down a huge hole and landed in some weird underground part of the map!! A mysterious little song began to play... (Recorded with my phone...  sorry for the truly hideous quality).

So after falling through a mysterious hole in Skyhold, I teleported to the courtyard... but the bizarre music continued to play!!!
