Yeah, I think their survival rate is down to which advisor you select to run the missions. Although, I vaguely remember someone complaining that Cullen gets a stack of them killed too. Maybe Cassandra and Leliana really do just keep him around to look pretty and to that I'd say....fair enough.

Heh yeah...I kept them all alive with Cullen, but at the last mission it said they all died so...yeah I kind of butchered the order.

Thanks for the comfort, that made me pretty annoyed since my HOF was searching for a cure for the Calling. So hopefully my HOF finds the cure and returns to Alistair to rule Ferelden or I am gonna go psycho. Seriously though the whole "Protagonist separated from their LI' thing is getting old.

Yeah, I sort of conscripted the Wardens in my canon and them wound up decimating them on the war table.

 

I'll listen less to "fighting darkspawn is what they're best at" advice this time through.

The Warden is off being awesome elsewhere but not with Alistair or any of her romance choices - which totally shows bad judgement on her behalf if she's a Zevvy girl because after DA2 my Warden was never letting him out of her sight again.....Isabella!

One thing I know is that Hawke would not be dealing with this drama with the Wardens. My male would be with Isabela out on the open seas and my female would be with Anders trying to salvage what they once*if they ever* had, and helping him recover his old self. That really did annoy me...Bioware I love you...but quit screwing with my characters!

I did the final fight with my archer, ice spec Dorian, tanking Cass and Iron Bull. Red Lyrium Dragon does generate guard, but if you have someone who drank from the Well, then you only have to knock off half its health to bring it down. Cory acts a lot like the terror demons you've fought throughout the game in terms of behaviors.

 

My two warriors carried rock armor, Bull had regens in addition, Dorian had healing mist potions and bees, and I was packing antivan fire and regens.
