I was only given two choices, myself or Morrigan. The above (ahem, rather spoilery) post seems to suggest there could have been other options?? Auren truly did not want to, but he did not trust Morrigan and did not feel a non-elf had the right. He wanted Solas to, but Solas refused (very Gandalf-ian of him).

I didn't think of taking Solas for story reasons because I was just doing what I was most comfortable fighting with.

this is my "eff you BioWare for not letting me romance Alistair" playthrough lol I headcanoned my Warden's crush was unrequited so he sacrificed himself I figured it was a bad decision (since BioWare LooooOOOOoooOOOOves<3 Morrigan) but I also figured this would be my crap "screw everything up" playthrough, too.

Not that i'm aware, but it might be worth waiting just in case any dialogue, quests, whatever that may have been glitched for you could trigger with the patch... who knows what stuff we've all missed and not even realised due to all the bugs.

So, I'd heard you could punch Solas (watched it and it's so harsh) but you can punch Dorian too! It's soooo cruel, I don't even know how someone could successfully manage to ****** the companions off to the point of being able to do that, LOL!

 

Err how can that happen? I mean for reasons I ignore completely, Dorian & Solas & Cass had all considered my Quizzy good friend, with Dorian being the first one. I mean I had done nothing that he even slightly disapprove!

PAGE 4000 DISCUSSION:

 

I think we should do something, although I think it can be low key. I don't know that everyone has had time to create new works recently since we've all been feverishly finishing the game (I've been trying to peck at my next Chocolate and Sex story, but it's been reaaalllly slow going).

 

But maybe it can just be pics of our Inquisitors with Cullen or general screenies of Cullen or something to demonstrate our love of actually playing the game?  

 

Thoughts? 

 

For people who don't do artworks or fanfics, how about taking screenshot of your favourite Cullen moments?

 

I prefer Cullen's romance.

 

Greg Eillis is brilliant...just bloody brilliant. 

 

For some reason, Cullen's romance is my favourite out of the 3 DA games. Weird, his was a last minute add-up. I must say, Alistair & Fenris are still wonderful people.

 

Greg's Ellis brilliant. It's not only his voice, it's how he plays with his voice to give emotions to everything Cullen said. Personally I still like Steve Valentine's voice a bit more but somehow Greg's way of voicing Cullen helps me to connect with the character much better. Greg's definitely talented. He literally put some life & soul into Cullen.

I've got to agree.  I think it was Greg Ellis that made Cullen in this game.  He gave so much emotion with relatively little dialogue.  I still think the romance could have been happy but bland for those who don't know the back story the way we obsessives do but for the 'Cullenites' Greg Ellis really hit it out of the park with his performance.

I watched the ending, closed the video when it got to the credits, then someone said something about that bit and confused the hell out of me. Then I watched through and saw it. I don't like tragic/unhappy romances normally, but he's clearly emotionally involved despite what he does, so this is one I'll take the plunge with. I'm not convinced they're entirely done either.

Popping in to squeal about Cullen!

 

I was flirting with him with my male Inquisitor today, and asked him (in Haven) if he met anybody in Kirkwall that caught his interest. Note: I don't remember exactly what he said to my Inquisitor who couldn't have him as a romance option, so I threw in the gist of it.

 

What he says to an Inquisitor who can romance him: "Not in Kirkwall."

What he says to an Inquisitor who cannot romance him: "To be honest, I wasn't really... looking. I can't say that anybody caught my interest."

 

This means that... he means you! When he says, "Not in Kirkwall", he means your Inquisitor!

 

He said "Not in Kirkwall" for my first female elf Inquisitor with Cousland as a Warden too, so he isn't referring to Surana/Amell either. (At least, to my extent of knowledge!)
