Confirmed that characters will have defined and different sexualities. No playersexual/vague LI's, no all-bisexual LI's (or so it seems).

On the one hand, I am somewhat glad they are going this route. On the other hand, it seriously bites because some people will not be able to romance who they wanted to.

I know what you mean. I like it on a personal level, but I hate it because of how it makes everyone else feel.  I'd rather have all-bisexual LI's than be slightly-more-pleased myself.

Not at all. But people are worried about it. Unfortunately, I think I see the route they are gonna take on who is what sexuality.

No, not for lack of asking.

 

Personally, I'm tentatively hopeful they'll make the NPC's bisexual, so that all genders have at least one companion and one NPC romance, no matter their sexuality.

Yeah it's the sexualities thing. I couldn't fall asleep until almost 5am last night. I think I need a few days to not think about the issue and just focus on other things, I guess?? I'm on Spring Break, so it'll be really hard to avoid the BSN lol but we'll see how well I do. I mean the trailer really was awesome, and I should be able to be excited about the game regardless of the romance situation.

I wouldn't worry just yet, Cullen could end up gay as the day is young, or swing both ways! As could the beardy dude and the Tony Stark lookalike!

To be honest, I'm somewhat ambivalent on the issue. On the one hand, I am glad that they are taking the steps to actually talk about sexuality in a more meaningful way. It bites that not everyone is gonna get the choice of who they wanted to romance.

 

I am glad for whoever I can get as a romance option. If Cullen isn't an option, I'd be just as happy with Dorian.

If Cullen is gay, in my second playthrough he's getting one very attractive Inquisitor boyfriend. Same goes for DHMG or Solas or Beardy or whoever.

 

I'm liking the lineup, regardless.
