As I said, it's Not exactly like this. Their daughter is born roughly three years After the war, and I think she met him afterwards.

I don't rely on movies as being the real version as such I rely much more on the manga for my infomation. The movies as no canon interactions based off of the manga. They just add stuff too like filler arcs and regions, so the movie and animi are somewhat mixed of canon infomation and non canon. Unlike the bioware comics. If the manga says is that she got pregent when he left that's what I go bye.

They're all shown as older while their kids look about ten? So, I wouldn't necessarily say she got pregnant the first time he left-- though I certainly wouldn't put that past Sasuke, either. My issue is that he isn't even there helping her raise their damned child. Whether she was pregnant when he left the first time or he came back, impregnated her, and then left again, it's still pretty hideous in my opinion.

Yes, it was a worldstate where an US Warden was the father and romanced Morrigan.    Though I don't know if that same conversation applies to Loghain or not.

If you want a special cute scene with your LI, just do Here Lies the Abyss first.

Same here, the item needed for my specialization was in the deep water, the part that when you go there you get swept back to the coast. Unreachable... Ugh

On the issue of fanfic ... I guess I would consider it wrong to so drastically change a character that is essentially someone else's creation and baby. It's one thing to address some aspect that the original writer did not and left ambiguous, but for me, the issues of orientation have been pretty thoroughly and unambiguously addressed in these cases, so I would consider them pretty "canon" and off-limits.

 

But then, one of my favorite games when I was in my junior high school years was to take my favorite movies, TV shows, books and try to create characters for myself and insert them into the narrative without interrupting the integrity of the main narrative and create a meaty role for myself in the story. It can be harder than you think.

I don't know. I am not bothered by it at all in fan-fic. There are men and woman out there that have wanted to romance Cullen (with a male character) just as much and as long as any of us so what is wrong them writing a bit of AU concerning Cullen's sexual preference? It is just a bit of fun and why should they miss out on that? Especially when plenty of them were really disappointed when it was released that Cullen was straight. It was not a happy day in the thread. It isn't like anyone has to read it if they don't want to. There are males and females on this very thread that write Cullen/M fiction and they have been participating in the thread for far longer than I.

 

I do, however, disagree with mods that change any characters sexuality, race etc.

Thank you. There's nothing wrong with AUs (and some people were very disappointed with the race gating as well). There are lots of these I wouldn't read because I personally disagreed with the changes, but I don't object to people coping with their disappointment this way.
