Archers are death incarnate, true story.Anyway, I finished a second, much more complete playthrough. Cullen and my Cadash had really strong chemistry. He felt more my romance than my romance. And I liked him resuming lyrium but Cadash promising to find a better way. Optimistic but not too optimistic. I sided with the mages. I liked the Cullen parts of Before the Dawn, but I really miss Calpernia. So I'd really like to take another ctack at the Cullen romance in future.Um, sorry for rambling.
Quick question, when is Blackwall's quest supposed to trigger? I've got the Winter Palace ball as the next main quest and I'vw had nothing from the guy.
Patch 2 seemed to help performance issues so I guess I could buy DAI now. At least it's supposed to work now though many of major issues like text size and textures haven't been worked on. However since Christmas is soon I wonder if it'll get stuck during shipping rush hour ^^;

For me it was after the ball (already did Adamant) but I had to do Iron Bulls before his tavern scene triggered (though that could be down to me being near the tavern at the time and only seeing Iron Bull quest marker). Though iirc I had to go out do something and when I came back he was gone.

One thing I really really love about the Cullen romance? I can finally role-play a shy person! I can't tell you how happy this made me! Even when I spoke to Josie I could tell her I was awkward at noble parties and that I had a crush on a templar once

It just made the Cullen romance even more amazing for me. It explained her awkwardness at Skyhold when she didn't want to outright say "I was worried about you Cullen" it explained why her hands didn't know what to do with themselves during the first kiss! I've always wanted a romance like this and my wish came true.

Sorry, Blackwall's. Talking to him after doing the ball/Adamant should trigger it but I had to do Iron Bull's before. Then he'd talk then I had to go off do something outside and when I got back he was gone. (Check his carving)
I've been sorting screenshots of Cullen's cutscenes and discovered that my Quizzy casts annoyed look at the meddlesome recruit, who interrupted her first kiss with Commander, even before Cullen gives him the Lion Stare of Doom. So adorable!

Its one of the reasons why I think romancing Cass with a mage is the only way to go

lol I've never had a problem getting it to trigger but you can kinda get the jist of what's going on during that conversation.
After his personal quest etc I kinda ditched or seriously delayed a PT romancing him.
Try what Wiccame recommended, hopefully it works after that

Lol, don't worry. Solas did that to me just after getting to Skyhold in one play-through. I really don't know what went wrong.

Naw, they cut it out of the game for some reason. Not sure why though.
Oh look, here's Dirge, late to the party like always.
It's possible they removed it because they belatedly realised the confusion it would have caused with all the lion motif around Orlais? (I had helmets turned off, because the textures mess up something terrible with the hats, so even the pimpquistor hat looks terrible and shows this weird white 'cap' over the head instead of the hair. So, I didn't even realise the Lion Helmet was missing at first and thought maybe Cullen's helmet was tied to that too. )
It's also possible it only existed to hide Cullen's face too, so they could tease about his reveal. That seems a bit like a silly reason for it existing, though.
