HAH. I hadn't thought of it that way, but that's an adorable interpretation. I thought he said "You said that...we should..." and then followed it up with "finish our game" because he literally could not think of what to say after reveling in the fact that she'd basically admitted to liking him too.

 

I love how awkward our flirts get after the first few either way. Both Cullen and the quizzy are just so awkward sometimes and itisabsolutelywhatwouldhappentomeirlinthesamesituationsoIsympathize

Thing is... "You said that." has a period at the end. And, "We should finish our game right?" isn't something she just said.

I changed up the order of my zones etc yesterday, went to Skyhold lvl 9 and only having done some Hinterlands. I must say I like you can do that, just mix and mash things around.

Got my first kiss with Cullen, so involved in the scene I forgot to take a screenie

Reached my max save quota of 250 so I deleted my 2 previous abandoned pt's to free up some space. I seem to get the auto-save icon loads but I never feel safely saved unless I hard save it lol.

Managed to get my KE specialization, my skill bar looks so empty lol I haven't actually tried to kill anything yet so we'll see how much of a fuddle I can get into with that today I foresee deaths a plenty

What kind of end scene do you get if you romanced Solas?

With the other LI's you get your cute little scene after the celebration party, but obviously Solas pulls a disappearing act so what does the Inquisitor do by herself? Also what scene do you get if your Inquistor romanced no one?

Guess this is a bit off-topic of Cullen. Spoilers about Morrigan and the Old God Baby in Inquisition:

I finally recruited Morrigan and found Keiran (is that his name?) wandering around in the garden at Skyhold. I told Morrigan that I thought he was odd and then realized Cole's not the only weird kid around any longer!  Maybe he and Keiran can become buddies now. Although, I still need to keep going to see what happens with him, so no spoilers on that, if there are any, please.

 

In my playthrough, Keiran is Alistair's kid and I felt like I could see a resemblance, lol. Alistair is weird at best. It makes me wonder if he'll end up ruling Ferelden, since Alistair did, despite it not being something that was possible back when he was a lad. Things could get interesting in Thedas in another decade....

Oddly, none of them hate my Inquisitor at all. The only one who seems slightly offish is Varric but I know I've got him pretty much at 100% friendship already, he's just a bit moody in DAI... pretty clear that he regards Hawke as his best friend, which I find sweet but I feel bad for my Inquisitor since he seems reluctant to count her amongst his real friends.

 

In same boat, all the companions seem to love my Quizzy but always kinda feel like the reject pushed aside for Hawke when it comes to Varric... I know he's a fan of my Quizzy but I wanted to be buds... meh least Dorian is my bestie

Page 4000 Update

 

We're doing a little over ten pages a day, so we'll hit 4000 in about 3-4 days. If we slow down, we may be able to stretch to the weekend.

So far, the consensus seems to be post a screenshot (or iphone pic of your TV) featuring your Inquisitor and Cullen. Pick a funny, sassy, sexy, whatever you want to share. Consider one where your Quiz actually shows so they're not all just pics of Cullen and the back of someone's head. If he's not your LI, who cares! Take a selfie standing with him! 

 

Want to do something else creative? Art, photomanip, drink recipe, limerick, fic, whatever? Go for it. All is good, so long as it's Culleny. Ask if you need suggestions for places to post. etc.

There's a video on YT showing the whole Solas romance. Not too long, it doesn't have as many scenes as the others.

Quizzie ends up alone in the balcony, crossing her arms and watching the sunset until it fades to black. Thought it was a neat ending, her face has an ambiguous expression that leaves enough room for you to interpret for yourself whether she's sad to be alone there, or determined to not let Solas break her.

Yeah, as disappointed I was it was good to see him still holding onto his close friendship with Hawke, and Cass cmon! Seriously!

I didn't want her to replace Hawke, but I just found him to treat the Inquisitor as more of a boss than a friend, and he always seemed a bit distant in general (i guess that's partly down to the situation, his guilt, and the fact that he hates being away from home). Still, he'd go on about the Inquisitor seeming untouchable/unrelatable to the people as a figure head but he never really gave her the chance to see her "human" side beyond that one Wicked Grace scene.

Could just be a glitch in his approval though.

He respects and likes Quizz but as a leader first and foremost in my mind whereas, Hawke was just Hawke for better or worse

I liked the Wicked Grace game well enough, but, at the same time, it felt like it could have had a couple more personal conversations lines? Just a couple more lines. After my rogue boy told the story about Great-Aunt Lucille it kind of tapered off. It didn't really feel like the big moment where the Inquisitor gets to spend time with ALL the companions like it was probably meant to be.

Hawke in DAI made me seriously just want to hug my boy. Even as a snarky!Hawke, it's obvious everything has taken a toll on him and he's become jaded and weary. How he talked about him and Anders and just...

I guess it depends on what you would call a 'bro'? I mean I don't call Dorian's friendship a 'bro' friendship, either, personally. It's very sincere and just obvious that these two people click and have each others back, in both emotional situations and on the battlefield. c:

Wow, I think I might be the only one that actually prefers the mage side...

It's not so much the mage part that I like better, it's what you get from it - Cullen's nemesis quest. Folks say that he seems more at ease if you go pro-templar, but I think it's just development on his part that you don't get to see since you spend that time with Leliana instead. Behind the scenes, I think Cullen would still be struggling with the realization that he could have ended up a red templar if things had been different - you just don't get to see it or talk to him about it. This is the #1 reason why I prefer to side with the mages each time.

 

I really can't stand Fiona, but getting Ser Barris doesn't outweigh the benefits of doing the Before the Dawn questline...at least in my opinion. I'm also not the biggest fan of Leliana - I never was (don't hit me please!). I'd rather spend more time with Cully-Wully, teehee. 

 

So in summary, if I could get the templars AND the Before the Dawn questline, I'd be there 100%. But, since it's either/or, I have to pick the latter.

Yep, that be the one. I'm pretty sure nothing you can say makes that conversation come out nice/good. He's pretty upset/depressed about it and I think it shows a lot behind why he has done as he has. But that and he's personal quest, more particularly, put me off romancing him. Plus, I've seen the YT leaving you there naked in the barn for all to see, just plain rude!

I liked it, I felt like he really opened up to my quizzy after a while and became a trusted friend. Tried to comfort my quizzy when he felt he needed it, and was still adorably awkward about it at times.

I now have a headcanon of my male elf being in heartbreaking unrequited love with the man. ;_;
