I swear all I can think about is Cullen being sterile because of the lyrium.   

 

Nah... adoption. Anyway my quizzy's fine with not having a kid herself, since I'm RP in she quite hate her power as mage and doesn't wish to put her children to this trial. But it's sad since somehow Cullen might be a good dad, and he might wants kids of his own...

 

The song, the Blight, The Taint, lyrium, it's all connected.

And as Bianca said, red lyrium is lyrium infected by the Blight, amplifying that calling.

D'aaaawww, when does he say that? During banter in the field or something? He definitely gives his all to his troops, doesn't he! There's a few times in-game where he really kicks off at the way other people have treated the men/women/troops in their charge.

For example, when he learns of "Blackwall's" past and how he basically screwed over the men and women that trusted him back then etc, Cullen has some choice words about it, LOL! He's also utterly disgusted at how Samson was activitely allowing, encouraging, and forcing red lyrium onto the other templars.

He definitely cares a lot about those in his care and wants to do right by them. I guess much like IB and his little group... I wish we'd seen more of Cullen interacting with his troops though.

 

Oooh I just got the line from Varric! You must bring Blackwall & Varric to the storm coast.

 

Yeah, as disappointed I was it was good to see him still holding onto his close friendship with Hawke, and Cass cmon! Seriously!

 

It's sad to not having the kind of friendships like with all companions in DA2. It's not the same story I know, but somehow it's sad. Still, I'm glad that as the Keep Tile indicated, Varric considers Hawke as his best friend up to this day.

I have to say, I was upset by it but working with children I see a lot of things where they don't know how to react or feel powerless to do so. I generally care more about mistreating of animals than people but I think it still needs to be taken into account he was a child, and from sounds of it he may not of had the best home/upbringing - that generally has a large impact (I know not rl but still)

What kind of end scene do you get if you romanced Solas?

With the other LI's you get your cute little scene after the celebration party, but obviously Solas pulls a disappearing act so what does the Inquisitor do by herself? Also what scene do you get if your Inquistor romanced no one?

I generally don't see how Cullen being a templar would effect his fertility personally considering there have been lots of accounts templars having children with mages and families. I think more likely for me, the Quizzy being sterile after everything that happens.

I know the orb was destoryed after the battle with Cory but I don't think it was mentioned whether or not the anchor is gone from the Quizzy? I rushed through it at 2am so may not of noticed/remembered. Anyone know?

Agreed I would of acted very differently towards him if he had no remorse.

Is Cullen a bit of a bro as a friend too? Or is he more sensible? I've seen a lot of people complimenting his friendship path.

 

I'd say Cullen is more of a friend and respected colleague. Atleast that's how and he my inquistor got along.

 

I think it also has to do with the fact that Cullen is the general, while Bull and Dorian are more just guys that decided to tag along. 

 

They aren't officially part of the inquisition.

I am hoping for a DLC rather than next game. I mean when i finished DA2 it just felt like there should have been more. When they cancelled exalted march and told us they would combine it with da: Inquisition I was fine with it. After finishing Da: Inquisition I felt super sad again with the whole cliffhanger story If I have to wait again 5 years for a next dragon age game to get a small amount of story out of it I will be 80 years old when i'll finally feel like I actually completed something.

It's not that the mage path is bad, but it definitely feels (at least to me), much heavier than the Templar path. Yes, it's development, but Cullen's still angsting over the the ones he "left behind" so to speak. Someone pointed out earlier that it easily could have been him in Samson's role, and that would have sucked. You don't necessarily see the development, but the Templars are safe now, since you've brought them into the Inquisition, and Cullen doesn't worry about them.

 

So no, it's not that it's bad, it's just that it's less drama for Cullen, and I prefer that he's, well, not worry-free, heh, but less worried, at least about the Templars.

But they aren't safe are they? If you go pro-templar, you stop the Envy demon and save a bunch (including Ser Barris), but you still encounter red templars out in the world. At least I sure encountered a lot throughout the rest of the zones in my PT where I took the templars. The only difference was that you fight Venatori in the Arbor Wilds instead of red templars. But they are still out there (including Samson and Carroll who actually lead the red templars), which leads me to believe Cullen would still be worrying about them "behind the scenes."

since there will always be some Venatori and Red Templar with either side you pick, guess that the difference is really in number. Guess that with picking Templar side, most of the Order is saved even if some still/already succumb to the Red Templar side.

 

Cullen knows too well that it's impossible to "save" every single templar but in my interpretation he's more at peace with himself knowing that the bulk is safely tucked in Skyhold. He's focusing more on helping people who choose to get off lyrium I think...

Lol, don't worry. Solas did that to me just after getting to Skyhold in one play-through. I really don't know what went wrong. 

My favourite part was when my Elidri shouted at him in elven then punched him in the face. Awesome scene.

As for Blackwall, I haven't been able to trigger any cutscene conversations with him at all. Except the one just after coming to Skyhold, I believe. But after that, (and before that iirc in Haven too), nada.

DId you get crash too when talking with Blackwall? I just deleted one character because I crash to desktop everytime I spoke to Blackwall (still in Haven). All save files did that...
