well yea they all turned out like alien goats or something. maybe it was just the make up looked fine in the cc but in game it was just meh. space goats are real btw, beware

Well Harry Potter is considered middle grade ^^ Hunger Games is definitely YA, but why do you think it shouldn't be? I personally dislike the ending and feel it is too nuanced for most Twilight-obsessed "Team Gale" or "Team Peeta" teens to understand, but that doesn't make it not YA.
The whole story goes someplace really dark - blowing up kids in the streets..mass murder...war and revolution...stark descriptions of festering wounds. I dunno, I don't have kids but I can't imagine reading something like that when I was that age. Or maybe adults get something completely different out of it than kids do?
YA is ages 12-18 or thereabouts. So yes, YA books often contain very dark content, including murder, rape, war, etc.
No problem, but you know, I've seen people argue that later HP is verging towards YA, and they say the series grew with its readership. Personally I feel the writing style never really changed, and that's what kept it MG, and the fact that a nine year old (MG is 9-12) can still read the seventh book and understand and enjoy it seals the deal for me

OT and discussed several pages back, but librarian here and wanted to throw in my not necessary but hopefully helpful two cents.
Books are YA not because of the themes of the stories being told, but quite literally because of the age of the main characters. For example, if you walk into most libraries you'll see the first three HP books in Juvenile and the latter four in YA. It's partially because yes, the themes did grow with the characters, but also because the characters simply got older, thus the darkening themes were more plausible. The Hunger Games is the same way. If Katniss, Gale, and Peeta were in their mid-20s it would probably be an Adult Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre because of the dystopian theme.

Does anyone headcannoning that a Lavellan inquisitor might choose to go back to his/her own clan?
What do you think will happen if Cullen's romanced & Lady Lavellan wanted to go back to her clan (if possible?). Do they broke up? Does he leave everything & follow her? Does she decided to stay?
I do. I might even go so far as to having the Clan attacked and killed off, butttttttt no. That's too sad, lol.
But after the game ends, I can imagine my Inquisitor want some time off. So much so that she might just sneak out of Skyhold without a word even to her Cully-Wully.
Then I headcannon that she finds how out of touch she is with her Clan, no matter how hard she tries, and just feels alone. And she comes back to Skyhold because people still need the Inquisitor and she miss Skyhold's inhabitants.
I don't know why I see her journey as something sad and lonely (well, I like things bittersweet XD)

Well, either because finally Cullen get a huge role in DA:I (+ Romanceable!) or because of this speed that he got this role. 
So, after nearly 70 hours, I have finally done the deed with Cullen for the first time! I made sure my husband wasn't home so he wouldn't hear me squeal or notice that I re-loaded the save multiple times...ahem! So, in honor of page 4K, here is an album to commemorate this special day

guys, do any of you have any ideas/prompts for cullen/inquisitor drabbles? it's been so long since i've written i can't promise anything great, but i'm sleep-deprived and for some reason that makes me want to fic. i have one for courtship lined up for my inquisitor already, but (because i'm sleep deprived) i just cant think of many others.

... it was epic fail since I got one of those bugs with lots of people walking at the background. And my BF can't stop laughing about how this timid boy is actually exhibitionist. Grrrr... 
... I like how most of us here seem to universally agree on Cullen's possible exhibitionist kink, lol
