I actually quite like the Hinterlands, lol. Mainly because it's the only one with a fair few quests relating directly back to the main plot. I do like capturing the Keep at Emprise Du Lion too though, and I like the giant moon in the night time locations, the sea in the Storm Coast, and the mountains around Skyhold.I haz a question for you all. Which of the zones were your favorite?
I loved Emprise du Lion personally.

I don't have them all but I like Crestwood. Someone about it intrigues me.

I've only been playing for 17 hours and I already have the option to romance Cullen. Too wait or not too wait.

So how do you get that ambient dialog in Skyhold? Just wander around and hope you catch the messenger talking to your peeps? I don't think I got any during my last two playthroughs ![]()

I liked the Emerald Graves - so verdant
Funny thing about Emprise du Lion is that after playing a lot of Skyrim, the last thing I want to see is snow. Well... living in Canada also means that the last thing I want to see on my computer screen is snow ![]()

Yep. Just wander around. People were pretty chatty in my game. Maybe you are experiencing a bug?
Or perhaps you are running around too fast ![]()

I got plenty of party banter and whatnot so I'm thinking maybe I was running around too fast...I'll try to slow it up this time lol.
I just don't ever remember seeing any messenger-type person by my peeps. Cullen had an elven guy a lot that never said anything and the templar trainer loved to hang around in his office and annoy him.

Yay! I finally got my Xbox One and am able to play the game. I am so pumped! I know I am way behind but here are my two Inquisitors. The elf is Deidre' and the human is Elyn. Elyn is based on myself mostly. She will be the Cullenmancer!
I would spoiler the pics for size but it did not work the last time I did it.

The pics aren't great since I had to take them with my camera directly from the tv screen.

The Knight Enchanter trainer hung around Vivienne a lot, and talked to her. Leli also had messengers talking to her quite often, and sometimes I just hung around waiting for the dialog to end. Josie also had lots of ppl coming to her office and exchanged words. Funnily enough, Cullen was the only one that never had a messenger when I checked in on him. Huh...

I just had an encounter on Cullen's office with his dwarf messenger about Sera's prank. He was yeling along this lines "I know Sera's been in this room, I swear!!" then the dwarf agent just awkwardly responded to him lol

I have been trying to find place to buy DAI. I was already ready to pay it on Amacon.com but at the checkout it suddenly declared to be that they won't ship video games to Finland. Argh, I hate sites that bullshit people, claiming that there is free shipping but then there isn't because of small print and something like this too. I guess I should just buy it somewhere in Finland although it will be almost double priced compared to US.

My daughter says she's seen what looked like a raven or crow in his office...
And I think there's a bird cage in his bedroom. It's usually empty, ISTR!
Edit: oops, someone else mentioned it. Too early in the morning for me!

What about a UK site, would that be cheaper?

No, it's more expensive than the US one and the shippings still come : /

I know how you feel. $120 to buy a game on release in New Zealand and that is just for vanilla.

Amazon should ship to Finland, I've bought games from there before. Never have I come across a foreign site that ships here for free, though. And with the shipping costs it's probably going to cost you the same as buying it from here.

You live in Finland? Hmm it did say for me in the check out that they don't? Maybe it was the seller then and not whole amazon, I guess I should go check if I can get it from another seller there. It was actually there for 36 euros (without shipping.. it promised free but I guess not XD) so I think that even with shippings it becomes cheaper than 70 euros that all shops in my hometown sell it for.
There is actually couple good online shops that give free shipping without conditions, Play.com and bookdepository.com if you sometimes want to check them out. I use them a lot but DAI is pretty expensive there as well. Play.com sells games, clothes, books, dvd's and bookdepository just books. Both are based in UK.

Man, I've never heard that song Falling slowly before... love it, it's beautiful.
One thing I love about this game is the fact you can buy the books you missed in areas... no matter how many times I run around "pinging" every second, I always miss some books.

Oh, right. Yeah, if you use one of the other sellers on Amazon then it's entirely possible that they don't ship to Finland. I thought you were buying straight from Amazon, my bad. But usually the other sellers ship to Finland too.
36 euros is actually a pretty damn good deal. Cheapest I've seen it go for is about 50 euros for the PC version so yeah, depends on how much the shipping costs are.
I didn't know about those, thanks.
And here I thought I online shopped a lot! I guess I mostly just shop on American sites and I swear every single time they offer free shipping it's only if you also live in America.

Now I just have to watch this film Once the song came from, it sounds so heartfelt and sincere.
When I think about my Quizzy and Cullen, the first song that comes to mind is Bloodstream from Stateless, the lyrics fit them perfectly and the music is really beautiful and tender.

I was blown away by the Arbor Wilds, they gave off this ancient prehistoric vibe, I half expected to meet dinosaurs
