AIRIMIR!!! i've come up with another idea... it just occurred to me!
i think it might be a more legit way of wrapping himself in his templar tunic ;p
anyway if someone needs help figuring out schematics for costumes and props, i could help... with my limited knowledge but i could

The reason I think his clothing is composed of two separate red sashes is because I saw this screenshot taken by silentstephi on Tumblr:
So from the front we can tell the ends of the outer coat is connected to the thin ends of the fur mantle, and from the back we can see it loops around his arms and connects to the back. So I just treated it as an extended sash that's been tailored into a vest with the mantle.
Then, we see that the layer of red underneath that vest isn't separated at the back and appears to be an uninterrupted swath of cloth, so that's why I feel like it is draped over his shoulders again and brought down to his belt to be tucked in similar to what you'd see with a Japanese hakama.

Omg, this is adorable!So, I was doing a bunch of war table quests and there was this one where some Orlesian woman was trying to play matchmaker for political gain, insisting that two young nobles partake in an arranged marriage which she wanted the Inquisition to aid her in to gain us more influence/power/whatever, as it went on it became clear the young woman wasn't happy about this arrangement and the young man wasn't keen on the idea of inconveniencing the poor girl but neither had much choice in the matter, later you find out that the girl already has a lover who contacts you to say he isn't happy about it but for the sake of the alliance between them he'd do as the Inquisition commanded etc. Leliana and Josie suggest ways to remove the lover from the picture safely to make sure the marriage goes ahead, Cullen on the other hand was like "why don't we create some confusion and then get the young couple (the girl and her lover) out of the picture to safety", I went with Cullen's suggestion, these were the results flavoured with his own special brand of humour:*SNIP*Basically Cullen sacrificed what would've been an important/useful ally to the Inquisition in the name of love. That big ol' softy. That's made me adore him even more!
What is this mission? How far into the game are you?

Haha. I looked at it like he has finally found loved and experienced how amazing it is and now that he knows who is he to stop two other people from having the same thing, after all, he is just a big softy at heart.

Cullen: *Laughs incredibly cutely* "by all means! ... Give me a moment"

I'm before the Arbor Wilds but I think that quest chain had been sat there for a little while, might have been from after the Winter Palace ball though.

I like how the "woo break" dialogue changes throughout the game and I love how he has a sense of humour. I kind of feel like my Hawke didn't really know him at all now, lol. I had always considered them friends.

For the most part, I am usually cheeky with him because I love to hear him laugh and keep things light-hearted. The only time I am "serious" is when it has to do with his lyrium addiction but I still haven't gotten his last two romance scenes yet.

Just had the Cass vs. Cullen arguing over lyrium scene. I'm so, so happy that Brianne wrote this so well. I love that my character can be a friend to the poor guy.
Plus, I love Cassandra's unwavering, relentless faith in Cullen.
