Cullen styling his hair is just the cutest thing. i keep imagining that the further north he is the less it works, though, because of the humidity. imagine if he had to go to kirkwall or the storm coast again and his hair just goes back to noodle mode, to his total distress (and other's amusement)

In the "Under Her Skin" quest for Leliana, there's a point where it says that Samson "fell" or died or something before Haven happened. Point being that he's no longer among the living in a Templar playthrough.

 

Really? I must've missed that. I recall in one of Corypheus' stone recordings he said "Samson failed" but it wasn't made clear if he'd died or anything.

It's weird because prior to the 4k posts, I thought majority was romancing him as an elf, especially as most of the fan art I've seen of him with a Quizzy has been an elven quizzy.

I thought I was in a minority lol Although, from what I heard/seen it seems like the majority has been MageQuizzy/Cullen pairings and I've gone with rogue

I don't know, I'd had the impression a lot of people wanted a Lavellan pairing, but everything that came up on Youtube seemed to be Trevelyan. It's hard to always be certain what class they are, but I think mostly mages, a few rogues, and one or two warriors.

i think a lot of the lavellans were snatched by solas being elf-only. I almost started his romance first because of that, but i knew that i'd just end up playing as an elf twice and i prefer mage/nonmage pairings anyway.

90% of the writing I came across so far was Cullen paired with Lavellan. I mean, I don't really care because there's not much of a difference if the pointy ears or tininess aren't mentioned, and even then it's nothing you can't ignore, but I still prefer Trevelyan. 

 

I don't know, I play a blood elf in WoW and I love her as well as the elves in Lord of the Rings, but I just can't get into the ones in Dragon Age. :/ Well, except for Fenris.

I was pretty lukewarm on Cullen prior to the game.  Kudos to Bioware for making him a little more than I expected (and I may even create a PC for a romance because I've heard nothing but good things.)

 

I like having him as an advisor, because he can certainly cut through the crap!

I can try to help~ Once you've extracted all the files there's also a readme txt file that has more instructions.

The steps they list are:

 

1. Start the game with administrator rights (by right clicking to run it)
2. Start the cinematic tools with administrator rights (ditto above parentheses)
3. After a few seconds a console should appear.
4. When the text "GUI Found" appears, the tools are ready to be used
5. Mess with it, make beautiful screenshots

 

What they don't mention is that once the Cinematic Tools console finds your instance of DAI running (between step 4 and 5), you'll need to go to the Cinematic Tools control window and click "Enable" to get it to start. You should be loaded into your save already when you do this, and when you click Enable you should see the camera angle snap to a different location than what you were looking at. If you end up really far away from your original camera position you can adjust the movement speed in the control window and fly back to where you were.

 

There's also more in the readme about needing to turn on numlock to be able to work the controls since some of them are mapped to the same number slots you'd use to cast spells and such, but that will be different depending on whether you're using a desktop/laptop and what brand you have.

ZOMG!!!  I'm finally done!!! 138 hours played. 126 actually in my save file, presumably from all my reloading. holy sh!t! Still collating that scene after the credits. And, d'awww, they included #IPlayBioware in the credits. 

 

Overwhelmed now with what it all means. But Cullen told me I looked lovely. So I'm good.

Blood elf priests were my favorite race/class combo in WoW. I like the DA elves too, though I prefer the city elves over the Dalish. I was mostly just commenting that it looked like, from the videos, that almost everyone romancing Cullen was human. I think Witchknights may be right that a lot of the initial PTs with elves may have gravitated to Solas first, though. And some of it may just be an accident of who recorded videos first.

Personally, I just tend to gravitate toward a human play through first before exploring the other race options. I fully intend to play as an elf eventually, possibly a qunari, too. The question will be which NPC to romance because I am intrigued by Solas although I know it doesn't exactly end well. I can't help but like Solas though even knowing what I know. I'm also curious about what an Iron Bull romance would be like, too, but I don't think I'll ever go for Blackwall. I am planning to romance Cassandra though with a male character.

I'm elven height, but i'm definitely not as skinny as one, so I went for what was closest to my own build which was human... Although technically it would be more like height of an elf, boobs of a female Dwarf and thighs like a stunted female Qunari, LMAO!
