Has anybody seen what Cullen does when you break-up with him? It turns out, the most EVILEST thing you can do to him is friend-zone him! You have to watch the very end of this video to see the look on his face when you tell him you just wanna be fwends.... >_<

wow that is a rough watch...
Must go load game and hug him ![]()
The only bug I noticed was that for some reason, I never got the dance option in Halamshiral. It's supposed to have the person who comes upto you after talking to Morrigan be your LI, yet I was aggressively romancing Cass, but I had Josie show up instead?
Was she trying to ninjamance me and Cassandra was currently busy being tied up in the broom closet?

Did you get the option to dance with Josephine?
Did you get the option to dance with Josephine?
I did get the option, but I didn't want to cheat on Cass... nor did I dare to! ![]()

Lol, Cass would snap you in half over her knee.
That is so weird. Josephine has just gone from the Disney princess of the game to the girl from that movie Swimfan.
I've read elsewhere that Josie is simply the default for the scene, so you get her if you aren't far enough along in the romance with your chosen LI (or didn't bring them to the ball).
I AM DYING!!!!
Well, now I know who took Cullen's underwear during the Wicked Grace scene. ![]()
Well, she was beneath the table the whole time.
Also... totally random, but I just noticed for the first time in my next Keep import that the Warden and Hawke I chose both have the same first name. LOL I'm so unoriginal!!
Hah, I do that too. I love the name Fiona and that was my canon Warden's name, but all before I'd read The Calling. And now I can't name anyone that.
I try to stick with Gaelic or Celtic names for DA games.
Also... not sure if other folks were as baffled as I was about the Divine choice at the end. It honestly kinda p issed me off who I ended up with. But there's a thread that talks about how it's influenced. Not what I expected. At all. In fact... not sure I would even call it a "choice" the way it's represented.
In part I love that Bioware did it this way, because there are so many little things that can impact the outcome. And not just in that, but in everything else. It feels like "game management" is actually a big part of the game. But in part it's super annoying because there doesn't seem to be a set way to make sure <spoiler> is the Divine. I have a notebook that I have to write stuff down in as far as advisors and how the war table missions branch. I have yet to decide how much I enjoy that part, mostly because it's an aspect I'm not used to.
Eh, I have been trying to decide on how I am going to start my Cullen/Trev fic and the answer has been alluding me. I was messing around with the idea of opening with a letter from mumma and poppa Trev becuase I was kind of disappointed that we got feuding distant relatives getting in contact with us but nothing from the folks. Any who, here is the letter, unedited because it is nearly 4 in the morning. Yay or nay?
Lol, best thing ever! Our boy has got some exhibitionist kink going on there!

Edit: He totes went for the boob in that last one!
OK, that's even better than the open door to the battlements ![]()
Yes, and he was feeling some sideboob from the other side with the regular cam too. Direct approach indeed!

I like that he is going for what he wants. ![]()
lol you probably got the same Divine I did on my first playthrough.

That's what annoys me. I *did* do that...

I am so afraid of this happening. For me it would be a wasted play-through.

I like that! But
However, a letter suddenly gives me an idea for how to add a transition to my story... (no, I have a deadline tomorrow, no story writing until I'm done
)
.... there doesn't seem to be a set way to make sure <spoiler> is the Divine.
There are some sure fire ways to avoid the one you absolutely don't want, such as
The problem is that once you've ruled out the one you don't want, the choice between the one you're aiming for and the ninja Divine gets muddled with other choices that you either don't foresee will have much of an impact (such as being heavily pro or anti-Chantry), or other unrelated choices you may not feel comfortable changing, such as ruler of Orlais. I will not put Gaspard on the throne, no matter what, so that shoots my favorite Divine candidate's chances at the knees, and I have to carefully navigate around the rest of smaller choices to make sure they weight out in her favor and don't accidentally tip the scales too much to the ninja's side.
This is worst than min/maxing the outcome of the Landsmeet. ![]()
You should never not patch your game, as a general rule. There's always ciritical fixes in a patch, even if we don't see everything it does. This last one fixed a lot of performance issues and adressed a bunch of little broken coding things, and the hotfix did away with the shiny hair bug, so there's no reason not to patch.
Weeellll, I don't think you can say this definitely if patching your game is known to introduce new, not-yet-constrained variables that for some have created new problems. If the patch is perfect, then, sure, of course patch and improve your game. But only if it actually improves. A bandaid on top of a bandaid is not confidence inspiring.
That being said, I'm frakked anyway. I can't import from the Keep with Origin Offline. Which means I can't start a new PT til I patch anyway. *big annoyed sigh* I guess here goes nothin.
Hmm I seem to be in a minority then. I loved the whole system around who gets picked for divine. It actually responds to your choices, if you do things that promote changing everything and making a more equal society you get leliana, if you just want reform you get Cass and if you want to maintain the status quo and make no changes at all you get viv. It feels more realistic, I like that certain decisions within the games universe are out of your control to a degree and are dictated by your actions not a one off choice.

It's made more ambient dialogue pop for me, and the hotfix solved the shiny hair problem. That aside the game is still uber buggy.

In theory, I agree. However, in practice... I felt I was making reform choices. Pfft. I guess part of it is definitional.
