I dunno, she was still a scary b!tch in my playthrough towards the end, even though I made her spare the traitor! She's talking about being Divine and making the different races join the Chantry and if they refuse then she'll make them! Scary woman!

I should also note for anybody else interested in this, READ READ READ the download page. The big link has a PUP (potentially unwanted program) 3rd party add-on called Open Candy. There is a blurb below the link that directs you to a RAR file that does not have the PUP 3rd party add-on. I downloaded this one and it works perfectly and no extra crappola! Thank you Malwarebytes for protecting my computer from the first naughty link!

She was softer to begin with, but once you get to her quest where she looks for the gift the Divine left her she ends up as a mad b!tch again, going on about being ruthless and all sorts. Can't figure out where I went wrong, you can't stop her from killing Sister Natalie either.

I think the choice in Haven (telling her to not kill the traitor) is what does it.

 

And... I think in a conversation with her at some point, I also told her that her people/scouts/spies matter and aren't disposable, but I'm not sure if that mattered. At the cloister, I also told her not to kill the Sister. I'm not sure if there's anything else that comes into play here.

It says that if you tell her to not kill the traitor, and supported her decision to pull back her agents before Corypheus attacked Haven, she'll be softened. It's probably also a good idea to tell her to spare the Sister at the cloister.

I'm really tempted to do an elf playthrough. I feel like I should probably romance Solas to get the full picture behind his backstory... but I know Cullen will keep stealing me away, lol!

and after the final cutscene with Cullen at Skyhold I got cute war table banter between Leliana and Cullen:

Pull back her agents before the Haven attack? I don't even remember that part!

 

Truth be told I'd prefer neither Cassandra or Leliana to be the Divine, that's too much for them to take on I want them to stay with the Inquisition and be free. That being said, I don't think it's wise putting Vivienne on the sunburst throne since it doesn't really improve on the mages or templars situation.

I edited my post with another question - how do you hide your weapons? I see in your screenies that your weapon is hidden...something I can't figure out. If I unequip my staff, it just shows a "dummy staff" in it's place. 

 

This is kinda immersion-breaking for certain scenes.

It's the first conversation with her at Skyhold, after becoming Inquisitor. She regrets pulling back her agents before the attack to save their lives, because she thinks that keeping them out in the field may have bought us more time. Support her decision to pull back the agents to save them, and tell her their lives matter.

Those messenger talks only started working for me in the latter half of the game after the patch and hotfix. Advisor banters hardly ever trigger for me on the war table though, I'll get maybe one every other trip to the war table, if that.

Just realised that Cullen is not just gorgeous - he's also generous!  During the wicked grace game I suggested another round of drinks instead of getting someone to tell a story, and guess who jumps up to get the round in! Bless him.

Weird, I have no idea! I've only turned on the script on when I'm in Skyhold, and all I do is unequip and reequip my armor and helmet. I never saw my staff.

So getting ready for PT2. What's the general feeling on the Patch 2 hotfix? Should I go ahead and patch my game in Origin, or leave it off still til Patch 3? FWIW, I never had any significant game breaking or annoying bugs, so wondering if the fixes it does address are worth it. 

I made a save point on my computer before I updated. I haven't encountered any graphical glitches; I made sure to match the mesh and texture (?) settings exactly to each other. And it looks fine to me? The one big update that I noticed while playing is that the search option actually works now as in "hey I can actually find stuff with this button."

 

My games don't really crash much. So I think it's fine? I would highly recommend making a save point on your computer as a back-up tho.

Uh, my Inquisitor drank from the Well and romanced him and got, I think, one War Table banter between him and Leliana. 

 

Something like Leliana asking him what's he thinking about the Well and him telling her wondering about the cost from drinking it.

Just saw a funny scene with a romanced Cullen. 

 

I entered Cullen's office and just stood there for a while. Suddenly, his assistant greets me and then...slowly walks out the open door.

 

ROFL it's as if he realised that was awkward. The three of us there, in the office, with the Inquisitor just waiting to be alone with the Commander...and the guy just standing there. Poor dude.
