D'awwww, he turned her down so politely! I wonder why that popped so early? I don't get that conversation until I'm in Skyhold... maybe it goes hand in hand with flirting with him as a human/elf successfully?

I wondered that too...maybe I haven't flirted with him enough. lol

It was well done because he puts the blame onto himself, rather than make it clear that he's just not into Dwarves and Qunari. Then again, maybe what he says to them is true and it's just that a female elf/human grabs his attention to the point where he can't ignore his feelings despite all his duties etc.

That's beautiful. It also sounds familiar for some reason. (Also, wow that formatting got majorly screwed up in the quoting. A mountain of color and font tags and random /size tags, insane.)

As for Cullen turning down men, it's not exactly the same as in the video with the female dwarf. To my male elf he just said (if I remember correctly) "I... would value your friendship. I'm afraid I cannot offer more. I trust you'll understand." It's in the same tone of voice though.

Still wondering if they climbed the ladder naked or undressed in the bedroom. I would go for the first also my quizzy is a real gentle lady so she probably let Cullen go first

It'll be interesting to see what sorts of nods/banter/mentions about the love interests will be added into the DLC, especially with all the in-jokes coming off the back of them, like Cullen's exhibitionist nature and stuff like that... I also hope that the advisors play a decent part in any future DLC/expansions for DAI.

 

I thought Varric would have something to say about an Inquisitor romancing Cullen/Josie, especially after the winter palace ball.

Yeah, I reckon it likely happened more than once that evening. My guess is on the desk, probably at least put some trousers/pants on to climb the ladder, stripped off again to get in bed to cuddle and be more comfortable, done it again once or twice more, fell asleep, woke up and the scene we see with his nightmare plays out.

Bwahaha! This is so awesome. I reckon if Jim works with Cullen that often... he's still got no clue. I'm gonna headcanon this, that he was actually scared of the Inquisitor. LOL!

 

To be honest, her body language was just something I *loved* in that scene. It was so realistic that, "No, pay no attention to me. I'm not here, kissing my subordinate. Nope nope nope. I'll just pretend like you don't see me. Because I'm invisible. And melting into the parapet."

I could see her even trekking downstairs to grab her clothes the next morning, dressing there in the darkness, but coming back up to put on her shoes and say good bye.

I've got this mental image of night guards queing behind the door trying to figure out how to proceed with scheduled patrols ^^

The animations are a lot more realistic this time around, aren't they! I remember back in the DA2 Cullen thread long before DAI was even officially announced we used to talk about how cool it would be if they could make the characters body language show what they were thinking/feeling etc, they certainly managed to accomplish it!

 

That's also another reason why I prefer using the female British voice for the Inquisitor because she manages to pull off that awkwardness perfectly in scenes with Cullen, listening to the pair of them um and er and stutter out their feelings and desire for each other is absolutely adorable!

On a, um, less hot note. I'm mad at myself. I had no idea that I'd get into a big shouting match with Dorian if I made Alexius tranquil. Oops! Big mistake. And here I was thinking it was actually a better punishment for the guy than execution because he was expecting execution. Better as in more fitting.

 

Now, I really ticked off Dorian to the point where I got the option to kick him out.

 

Am I the only one who really feels tons of sympathy to Alexius...? Even in the dire situation where he might face death, his first and only thought is of his son. If all he did was (like he said, and apparently true) to try to save his son, well, he's still... redeemable no? I always made him do research for the inquisition to atone or working for the mages he wronged... Death or Tranquility's out of question for me.

I bet he just wanted to know if she forgave him for acting the way he did during the broken circle. He did say it was one of his regrets that he never got to apologise. Well, I bet he was curious, too

 

 

In that video, I presume that the Warden (f!Amell) is still alive...? (I know personally a guy who still mourn for a girl he never had the chance to tell his love to her. She'd been dead for about 5 years now. Sad to say but sometimes a feeling for a lost love one can persist for many years...)

it's cool they can enter. apparently quizzy and Cullen don't mind at all they even do it with people watching. cuff cuff all onboard the partol train. Or make some turist attraction of it. I agree they did a great job this time around! Btw did anyone else notice that little nod he gives the quizzy before she gets up during that final romance scene almost as if he´s telling her that´s he´s ok?

Like he started to grab her on the desk, try to undress her but she fleed and *something involve running around the room chasing each other* and she got up the ladder still three-quarter dressed while teasing him...

 

So they got undressed upstair.

 

 

(Nah, some boys don't know how to undress half of things a girl might wear... but maybe more experienced men might... I mean, how long does it take for you boys/your partners to undo that bra for the first time in your life?)
