Well, I retired the part of I thought the German version's Cullen not bad. It's bad, the VA didn't nail at all the softer part... It was OK on shouting at the recruits training part but not OK when he talked to the Inquisitor with softer voice...

Agree, I would like something more dire. The breached closed not even half game? Aww... I was imagining ultimate-sacrifice type ending before release. The whole thing is, I can't feel the iminent threat to the world nor to the inquisitor.

About the pacing & content, well in DA:O we got 4 romanceable people, no NPC. No random conversation with NPC #3 in your stronghold (except Bodahn & Sandal). In DA2 we got 4 romanceable people + very few noteworthy NPC.

Now suddenly we get 8 romance options & twice as many notable NPC...

That smile the Quizzie does gets me every single time. It's so funny.

If it's between Cullen and Alistair then I'll literally refuse to finish the game. I'll literally throw it out the window and never touch a BioWare game again, LOL!

Be warned throws **** out the window if it a choice between two romances in previous games. Lol

-________- Logic in a Bioware game*I love you Bioware...I promise, lol* don't make me laugh, Lola. You know we were not going to make it through DA:I without Bioware putting in a scene that would truly tear the player apart.

You're right. At least that is what I remember too, I am still just trying to understand the green lyruim in the Hissing Wastes.

I didn't get chance to explore the Hissing Wastes much in my weekend of playing the game, (just one more day now till I get to pkay again!!!), but green lyrium? Seriously? It's like they want the forums to make ME3 ending jokes.

Actually, I'd be surprised to see anyone who was a LI returning as an actual companion, but maybe as NPCs of some sort, and Viv is out as possibly the Divine, etc. Varric's been in two already. I'm not sure that leaves anyone except Cole, actually. I'm thinking either Dagna or Harding may show up as the first romanceable dwarven companion (more likely Harding than Dagna, but who knows). None of the other NPCs except Berris (sp?) and Krem have struck me as all that memorable, and there's the problem with both of them potentially being dead (though that's never stopped them)...

I can totally see Harding being a companion and I hope she is. I wish so much that Conner could be, but then people killed him...however...Leliana could be killed so...maybe? I would also like to see Keiran grown up at some point, I really want to see how he turns out. He could be a cool companion...but some people did not do the ritual so...

the only thing i have to say about Cullen's VA is that playing his romance with headphones on was an experience, and let's leave at that.

Nah, Greg's wonderful! (Okay maybe some Pinguin-language version VA can be good too but so far I've seen like 3 different languages on Cullen's scenes and only Greg can do it right. One version had great Cassandra however, don't even remember which...)

Why wouldn't he make it through DA:I? The breach is over with...Cory is dead...FOR REAL this time...so unless the undead start to spread and infecting people I think we are fine.

If you mean Cullen, I worried so much (before release & before epilogue spoiler) that he'll die because of that lyrium thing. I was so glad to be wrong.

You'd have thought that if they intended to give us more romance options then they would've given us more character/LI content in general as well. For a game that size it needs to be doubled, if not tripled.

I'm still completely dumbfounded about that final battle, after all the DA2/ME3 fallout I thought for sure that they would've done something with the final battle that at least let us potentially sacrifice our protagonist or lose our companions, or take our decisions with who we sided with etc into consideration. Perhaps the fact that the Inquisitor always survives is indication of a post-game expansion? I mean you can't really solve whatever the issue will be if your Inquisitor is dead... but still, some sort of game over cutscene where we die would've been nice.

Yep. There were quite a few clusters of it around fade rifts and no the lyrium did not change back to blue or red when the rifts closed...so I am going to assume that if lyrium is around a fade rift for an extended amount of time it turns green, or fade rifts can somehow create new lyrium.

Magic Fade touched lyrium? Time travel lyrium? Lyrium tainted with the blood of a green wisp? LOL, I dunno. No one even comments on it.

Still the time travel in this game was hard to sollow since according to lore it's not somthing a Mage could've done in the other two games even with speical equipment.

In the Hissing Wastes, typically spotted around fade rifts. I think I found some in/by a few caves in that place too.

I wonder if they'll expand upon that in the next game? Travelling backwards and forwards in time like LoZ: Ocarina of Time, LOL!

... I better get a green floppy hat or I shall be most displeased!

That would be a tough one. Alistair is the ONLY one that would challenge my devotion to Cullen. But I think in the end Cullen would still win out. And then I'd replay and pick Alistair just to be fair.

It's stated in-game that it was only possible because of the Breach, so yeah, no mage could have done it in the other games.

Unless that ambient dialogue was bugged too... I swear if we discover a rainbow colored cluster of lyrium I am first going to be amazed and then quit the game...although black or white lyrium that I would really like.

Same with Qunari females. They really showed that Sten was wrong is his thoughts...even though the World of Thedes Vol. I states the same thing about Qunari females and their roles.

I'd just stop playing. I'd be so angry that I think I would actually be done playing BioWare games because there would be no rhyme or reason to ever have those two put together in a situation where they'd be working together, let alone anything else, so the only reason it would be is simply to make you kill off one of your darlings for "dramaz/fangirl tears/arseholeness". If it doesn't have a good story based reason for happening then it shouldn't be in there.

...I actually really like this voice. You're right in that he doesn't nail the softer parts when Cullen's voice is supposed to be gentler and warmer to the Inquisitor, but in general terms the voice actor sounds a lot like Greg, enough that you don't get that cognitive dissonance of a completely different voice coming out of the character. He blundered the romance bits somewhat, but the rest of it was pretty good.

I am still somewhat annoyed that they brought Champion back when they could had brought back the Fade Warrior spec...I mean really the veil is torn and we get the Champion spec versus the Fade Warrior spec that could had easily fit the story like Rift Mage...such a huge miss, imo.

Well, I love choice like this. It's hard to make, and too easy if ever we know there'll be third option. That's why I forced one of my PT so that the Abyss choice will be Hawke or Alistair. Since I love both, it'll be much more engaging...

But still, it'll be cruel if it's either Cullen or Alistair. And Lola, I don't think that it'll be Alistair. I mean he already had too much opportunity to die in 2 games (DA:O & DA:I).

In any case, I love DA:I still (not as much as DA:O in term of epicness but still...) and I thanks Bioware for Cullen.

I kind of was relieved when I nearing the "end" of the romance since everything seemed to be going well, and once I reached the end everything ended in a happy/nice way.

I'd wish there was a story reason everyone's Hawkes suddenly being so involved in the Wardens' buisness and making it their mission to deal with them. I think it was just a way to write them off.

I'd really love to see Alistair and Cullen team up. But for purely selfish reasons, both of them on me screen at the same time? Even better if it's for a large chunk of the game? Yes, please.
