Ready to start What Pride Had Wrought soon, and could use some advice for party members
My favorite party is Cass/Dorian/Varric, and I wish I could have them see me through until the very end, but I know Solas is a must for 'What Pride..'. Out of those three, who might you suggest replacing with Solas based on party banter input/etc? I'd probably keep Dorian because he is bound to have interesting things to say about that shady Well.

Dorian definitely has a lot of interesting things to say, and about more than the well.

Really? Mine said Warden Alistair disappeared, which I took to suggest that he went off to join my Warden in the search to cure the calling like he had planned, since it was Morrigan narrating I figured the Inquisitor didn't tell her where he went since it was not really anyone's business.

Do you still have this save to go back and rewatch this slide to make sure that's really what it says? This sounds really odd, as the slide is supposed to be the same for Hawke, Stroud, Alistair and Loghain; they disappear into Weisshaupt, get caught up in the inner warring among the Wardens, and aren't heard from again as the place suddenly goes radio silence (possibly setting up the scenario for some DLC, novel, or even the next game). I haven't heard of a different slide for Alistair anywhere.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, that maybe she just heard it wrong, or didn't catch the part about how he disappeared, but specifically into Weisshaupt. I know in my first playthrough I wasn't fully paying attention to the slides and had subtitles turned off, so several parts of the ending went right over my head. Including the lines about the Wardens from the South and the Wardens in the Anderfels being at war with each other and Weisshaupt suddenly going silent, I had to go back and watch it again after I saw it mentioned elsewhere because I completely missed those ones the first time.

 

I'm anxious as all hell about that last part, because if she disappears into the fortress and soon after all communications cease, it means my Hawke still isn't safe, after all this. And according to Varric, Sebastian and Bethany went after her, so now they're caught up in this Warden mess too. :\

I don't necessarily think it isn't possible for him to go back to her... maybe with all the crap going on he made him self scare once he got into Weisshaupt. As far as I remember, it doesn't mention if he went missing before or after informing them. He could of informed them, then took off ASAP. I tend to agree with Lola, he's gone into hiding with her.

I hope you're right though, a DLC or new game, I hate loose ends and not knowing!

I actually had very very very very very high expectations after Haven's attack & arrival at Skyhold. This part is simply amazing & epic that even the ending can't match it.

 
To be honest, Haven sequence gave more "badass ending" vibe than the ending itself, it had tension, haos, npc involvement etc.

Dai is the first da game when all team wasn't involved in final battle. There is no chance that some forces weren't available in Skyhold (what kind of tactical mistake is it to leave your stronghold completely defenceless?), and Cory would bring some peeps with him for sure. The final final battle could proceed as it did originally. At the same time I loved Arbor Wilds and the Temple.

 

Is the general consensus that Ser Michel is great guy and hot in the DAI? Cause I disliked him in TME a lot and I wonder how in the world they have made that boring ass character intresting in DAI..
 
The only one's I'm kinda looking forward to meet in DAI are Briala and Gaspard.

I was pretty much underwhelmed by all of the masked empire cameos. They just felt flat, no major tension, not to menti In a quick resolution for the major crisys. I know it's due to the fact that the game setting and the way the quests are constructed would not allow for book-like characterisation, still...

To be honest, I found Ser Michael's intro lackluster. Bastard wouldn't even help me fight Imshael after all his talk about wanting to fight the demon himself both in the book and in-game, lol!

I kinda laughed at that too.  He did go to help the village but I think it would have been better to have him there to fight the demon or have him turn on you if you made a deal.

*hugs* Thanks...that's Rebecca, my second Quizy. A mage. Who sided with the templars. She's much more sure of herself than my first Quizy. Cullen is amazing. I haven't even been tempted to romance anyone else yet, though I am looking forward to making Quizies for Dorian and Solas. Someday. *grin*
