I kept saying I would make my next playthrough an elf and go for the Solasmance. But I ended up making a second human mage and going for Cullen again. I have no excuse

I just want to know where and when he got that scar on his lip. Aftermath of Kirkwall perhaps? And I just wanted my quizzie to reach out and kiss it just once.. Or twice.

I've sort of headcanoned that it was sustained during the fight with Meredith. And yes, scars are there to be traced, at the very least

Human Mage was my first playthrough. I've waiting for that dynamic since the beginning so I wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to finally have it. I've tried playing her with daggers. That just feels weird to me now.

That would be funny if true or have him make him lie to the Quizzy to make him look badass or somthing. You know a cute I am know I am telling a white lie since it make me looks cool.

One thing I did take from that game, observationally of course, is that the lip scar appears to be his only one. He obviously only got clumsy rather recently

Or he caught it on a pointy bit of his helm as to why it is no longer in-game. Too much of a hazard.

I just headcannoned his scars are their on his back and we just never fully saw them. Because no way is that scar the only one he gotten.

Ready to start What Pride Had Wrought soon, and could use some advice for party members

My favorite party is Cass/Dorian/Varric, and I wish I could have them see me through until the very end, but I know Solas is a must for 'What Pride..'. Out of those three, who might you suggest replacing with Solas based on party banter input/etc? I'd probably keep Dorian because he is bound to have interesting things to say about that shady Well. 

 

I've done that mission with Solas/Cassandra/Sera and Dorian/Blackwall/Cassandra and I'd definitely suggest taking Dorian. I don't know how much input Varric has but I don't recall Cassandra having all that much to say (only took her again because my nightmare setup had two s&s warriors). But I'd drop either Varric or Cassandra for Solas, I guess depending on who you need more (warrior or rogue).

It's funny that all of you guys who intend to start to romance Solas and then can't help but romance Cullen again- it's the same thing the Solasmancers are going through, but opposite.

 

I'm equal opportunity, but I do highly suggest romancing Solas at least once because it's got all the angst and despair Cullen didn't get. And he's wonderful.

I've done a solasmance playthrough, probably won't do another one until we get some idea of where the writers are taking the whole plot surrounding him. I will admit though It is difficult to choose between him and Cullen since both romances are so well done. Reckon Cullen will always win out for me though, I've had more than my fair share of angst from past Bioware romances thank you, I just want one that doesn't end in doom and gloom for once

Anyways, figured I'd come out of hiding with my tribute to Cullen in the form fanfiction!

An ending came with the glimpse of an ashen face bordering between fear and confusion. Blonde hair and trailing dark toned furs announced the fast retreat of the man. "Consumed by darkness, the mind finds only what it needs." A muffled, yet familiar voice called through the endless haze.

 

Shameless plug aside...this forum has been a great way to pass time at work and I'm glad to join the Cullenite ranks

Not sure unfortunately, I think you can flirt with him at haven and you're fine but it's probably best to avoid any of the flirt options once you get to skyhold. On my Solasmance I avoided Cullen like the plague otherwise I wouldn't been able to stop my quizzie from romancing him. I am a weak weak woman

But can you really just leave Cullen like that? Honestly, I have wanted to do a PT with Solas and Blackwall, yet I can't go against Cullen...I miss him too much >.<
