Too bad Cullen's not coming at the field. The sea air might do him some good, as said by Harding.
Harding said that about Cullen? Tsk, how did I miss that one!

I know, right! And what makes it doubly surreal is that my Warden is supposed to be me, and my Inquisitor currently is supposed to be me, so I'm essentially getting annoyed at Cullen for mooning over me when he's supposed to be romancing me.

Probably it was only for that video.
Or some particularly raunchy dialogue ended up being cut? My money is on Sera or Bull being the one most likely responsible for dropping that into a conversation, although hearing smut from Cullen would be spit-take worthy...
I remember once a tweet from Greg saying that he was recording raunchy things for DA:I. I wonder what was he referring to since... there's nothing raunchy in the whole Cullen romance. Well, his eyes & his look when he got on her maybe but no smut lines. Content cut?
Yes I'm sure that would change everything. I saw some of her work. She's fantastic! Her hairstyles already are amazing. And I asked her to look into some of the hairstyles I liked for DA:O.Wait until Adela and the others get all their mods into the game, there's some amazing hairstyles ready to be put in already!

LOL, I just find the concept of him pining over someone after 10+ years that he never properly even spoke to or really knew more than a little creepy. Back in DA:O he made it clear that they'd never really spoken at all. It's just... unnerving.

Eat cake, riiiiight, definitely eat cake!

That's something I've been wondering about too, Greg knows smutty when he hears it, so whatever it was he recorded must have either been cut for being too "out of character" or *fingers crossed* will be used in DLC/expansions.
So hey, can you folks help me out? I need to know how Cullen's codex is different between romanced and unromanced. Can someone tell me or share screenshots of what it looks like at the end of the game/his stuff if he's NOT romanced?
Thanks!

Hah! Right. He doesn't want a smack upside the head!
And I will not be leaving him with naught but his soldierly duty. My Inquisitor is there, ripe for the taking! He just needs to, you know, take her.

The appealing kind of creepy, though?
Think this all goes back to my earlier point of: When a man is left with nothing but soldierly duties his mind must wander to someone. Living in his...er entertaining dreams could be nice.

Or... maybe he mistook the context somehow... kind like how we mistook the intent of some of Bull's lines a priori. Time will tell.

From experience? No. Not appealing in any way, shape, or form! That kind of infatuation is unhealthy and nearly resulted in the fucker running me over the last time someone got too attached.

I kind of expected it to be an overstatement based on Raphael Sbarge's pre-ME3 commentary vs. the suggestiveness level of that final product. *crosses fingers with you that I'm wrong and it's DLC/expansions*
LIKE. (I'm out of Like again...)
Well, the thing about Varric feeling that his "best friends" are in Kirkwall is just sort of... heartwarming. I mean, he can't suddenly feel that the whole bunch of Inquisition people that he just knew a few months back as best friends right?
Personally I still prefer the companion dynamic of DA:O compared to DA:I. Maybe because it's really just the 8 (or how many again?) of them, camping at night far away from other people. Too many NPCs in Skyhold, no more intimacy...
Remember Leliana singing Uthenara & we have all shots of all companions? Can't do that in DA:I. Except on that arrival of skyhold thing but... not the same feeling.
Still, I love Varric once again. I love Bull & Dorian getting snarky, and I love Solas. Too bad Cullen's not coming at the field. The sea air might do him some good, as said by Harding.
Yeah, I can see why Varric might be a little distant to the Inquisition group, especially since he was roped into this as a prisoner of Cassandra's. Sometimes I wonder if she only brought him along because it's an excuse to look at the chest hair, or because she wants to make sure she's the first to find out if he writes another chapter of Swords and Shields. It was nice to hear him talking about the people in Kirkwall fondly though and get to see Hawke again, it was also the only time that Hawke seemed to cheer up as well (was it me, or did anyone think that even a Sarcastic Hawke was kinda dour?)
I did miss having that close-knit feel of the campsite in Origins as well, it'd be nice if once inside of a keep, they became like a mini-base where everyone had their own little spot, just to give some of the standard conversations some variety? Or been a little like in ME3, where companions moved around in the Citadel and Normandy over the course of the game?
The appealing kind of creepy, though?

but...I thought we agreed on the eat cake part

I dunno, there's nothing he says in game that could be described as raunchy at all. This coming from the guy that sung the Johnson rap, don't forget!

@R2, I actually just checked my endgame codex on Gale.
Cullen's entry just has the normal bio section, followed by that one letter to Mia.

Well I don't see Cullen running anyone down with a horse just yet!
Hmm, won't be much help with that, sadly. I've never used MSI Afterburner, but is there a way to run it like normal and just disable the overlay / on-screen display? From what I've read, it sounds like just the OSD is what causes problems.
Thanks, I will try using Afterburner and just disabling the OSD.
Can I ask what monitoring tools you use? I've tried NVIDIA's and didn't like ti as much as Afterburner.
but...I thought we agreed on the eat cake part

But can one not eat cake and let their mind wander all at the same time?
I don't think I can blame him even if he was pining after for 10 years. Justin Timberlake is still very much on my list. Lol.LOL, I just find the concept of him pining over someone after 10+ years that he never properly even spoke to or really knew more than a little creepy. Huh. Well, at least she acknowledges that it's awkward no matter what! LOL
See I took this to mean he was being a typical guy being curious about two chicks... ![]()
