Nah, it means you have good taste. 

 

Though I do wish we could have the inquisitor talk to people (or atleast Cullen and Josephine) about what you saw in the nightmare. The game gives you a chance after all to speak to Leliana and your companions about their future selfs, so I see no reason why the other path shouldn't get something similar.

 

And I could imagine even the most stoic hearts would feel pretty shaken after what they saw in Envy's nightmare.

Well at least you get a little understanding from Cullen though I don't think anyone else comments on it.

Yeah, that entire sequence should have been way more depressing because of how dark that future was meant to be. I was a little surprised that our Red Lyriumed companions were still lucid enough to be on our side, I half expected them to turn on me and be forced to fight them off and/or kill them, just for the heartbreak factor.

 

For those you didn't bring along, it'd be worse if we found out their fates in this future. Dorian could have been brainwashed via blood magic to be loyal to Tevinter, Vivienne could now be possessed by a Pride Demon, Cole could have fallen into despair and become a demon, and in a grisly allusion to all those Ogre skulls hanging over doors in DA2, we come across a Qunari skull with all too familiar horns...

That always bothered me about that mission.  Really it doesn't make sense to me that they are as clear headed as they are. And I always want to know what happens to everyone else...especially Cullen.

Oh well, a shame it ends the romance if you tell him to take it. I guess my ruthless Templar inquisitor concept won't work after all.

It is possible. Though it depends on how ruthless you want your inquisitor to be towards Cullen.

The first choice in his office you can tell him to take it. Then there's a scene at the weapon smith where you have a further three choices: tell him to stop ("Cullen will stop taking the lyrium"), tell him you'll help find a safer way to stop after all this is over ("Cullen will keep taking the lyrium for now"), or simply reminding him that he chose this life ("Cullen will keep taking the lyrium"). Only that third option will break the romance.

Question for Lavellan Inquisitors who are romancing Cullen: In the Trevelyan romance, Cullen brings up that you're nobility and what will your family think of him, being that's he not nobility of any sort. And Trevelyan can reply that her family will hate it, but she doesn't care, or it doesn't matter, or some such. Does he mention anything similar to a Lavellan? I've tried finding videos with the conversation, but all I can find are the cut scenes of his romance.

You can ask him if it bothers him that you're Dalish. He says that since humans and elves in the Circle are treated the same, it never even occurred to him that it might be an issue.

I need to try to do the Templar mission though is going to take them as prisoner on my non mage playthough. I need to get out of my habit of playing Mages though. Because I like throwing a fireball in bad guys face.

Opted for a morning of drinking coffee and reading some random forum threads.......really wish I hadn't bothered, now I'm having nasty flashbacks to DA2 times *shudders*. I've came back to the safety that is this thread lol.

 

I normally don't play with subtitles switched on as I end up missing so much in the scenes because I'm reading. It ends up feeling really weird too as I read quite quickly so I'm finished and waiting on the actual speech to catch up lol. It seems I might be missing out on a lot of ambient dialogue though. In my two PT's I haven't heard Cullen say anything in the Arbor Wilds it makes me wonder if I'm missing more, I might switch the titles on for my next run, I'll see if I can put up with them lol.

 

I've been taking quite a few screenshots now I know how lol but I always seem to mis-time them and end up with random nonsense and not the acual shot I wanted lol I need to work on my hand-eye coordination a little bit more I think

It's not a male quizzy, it's Artsyneurotic's Prishe Levellan, a female elf. And that's from her Red Lyrium story that she initially prompted me with but she got sucked into writing her own as well because we're evil jerks that like to torture people. Greendelle just drew fanart of it, because she likes pain too. It's mostly my fault that she's on a red lyrium Cullen kick. I wish I felt bad but he's hot as f like that.
