So from the earlier pet discussions I had this cutesy little one shot idea come from it and am currently writing it.
Also as a side note does anyone in here not click with the mage class as much with this game. Don't get me wrong its a powerful and awesome class just the off-putting mage only comments...rub me the wrong way at times.
I did as well. I've rolled two mages (human and Dalish) and each time I felt like she was constantly trying to apologize and second-guess herself for being a mage. At least with the Dalish one I could sometimes pick race-based comments instead of class-based ones.
The one quizzy I've really connected with so far (and finished) was a human warrior champion. She was total bamf...and in my head she and Cullen would spar together. I think I will connect well with this new rogue as well...I also have a 2h "warrior goddess" that I created but haven't played much with.
You get a couple extra comments with Cullen for being a mage, but honestly I think I prefer the non-mage classes. I got more out of the warrior-based ones where you could potentially be a templar and have those conversations.

I heard something interesting while walking through Skyhold with my Male Quiz. One of the noble men in the keep said something in ambient conversation to the effect of, "a confirmed bachelor? too bad". I think he was talking about our guy.

You get a few, but it doesn't change the whole story or anything.
To be honest, I had a hard time getting into playing a Dalish. I love my quizzy and she's absolutely gorgeous to look at, but I had (and am still having) a hard time roleplaying her. She just seemed to fit into the inquisition too fast. A perfect example of what I'm talking about is in DA:2 with Merrill...she's like a fish out of water at first. My Dalish quizzy just seemed to roll with it like she'd been living with humans all her life. Like at the ball - she miraculously knows how to dance formally?
Maybe more race-specific dialog would have helped? I dunno. I think they handled the Qunari story better...

Not entirely sure but I find it unlikely there would be any mention of any of the romances, at that stage it's too early in the game for any of them to be locked in or be past the awkward flirting stage. It would be cool though if something like that happened in the game, a demon or major bad guy trying to get under the inquisitors skin by impersonating or threatening their LI.

It's one of the dialogue options right near the end, after the Samson quest if you sided with the mages. He asks if you ever think about what your life would be like if you weren't the Inquisitor, and if you say something like 'my life would be much simpler' he says that line and then gets a sheepish grin as he realises he isn't helping. Adorkable.
