I got this too in my game!! Lol
Yeah? Did your female Dwarf mutant man also keep repeating, "Weird."
OMG, yes you are! Go away!

I had the same. Maybe it's a bug? it has to be because it doesn't make sense otherwise. But some info on our companions and advisors would have been nice in that quest. Just for the drama and the feeeeeeeeellsss

I don't remember if that happened.Yeah? Did your female Dwarf mutant man also keep repeating, "Weird."

I just wish they'd focus on what they do best. Don't get me wrong, the environments are stunning but their talent lies in their character driven storylines and in depth cast of followers.
Yeah, I can see your reasoning. Skyrim was one of the biggest games in history, so I'm sure they wanted to jump on that wagon. It is also one of my favorite games of all time, but don't get me wrong, I love Bioware RPG's just as much, if not more. I just can see both sides and I'm still happy because I get both lol.
With Skyrim it was less about the missions and more about just wandering around seeing what new stuff I can find in the open world. Even after 100's of hours you can still find new stuff. I'm finding the same thing with DA:I.
Total non-sequitur but I read a rather entertaining fanfic last night about Skyhold. Um, from the kmeme. LOL As in, f!Inquisitor/Skyhold.
Oh yeah, the creative juices are flowing right now in the fandom. Hallelujah! ![]()
I work on dual-monitors every day and it's essential...I just can't imagine gaming on two monitors :/
The problem with this game is that in order to push the graphics you really need to start getting into the realm of custom builds and that's $$$. I was just lucky that I had a new rig built less than a year ago.
Not sure if it would help but here are my system specs:
Intel i7 4820k @ 3.70GHz w/ Corsair H60 enclosed liquid cooler
16.0GB RAM
NVIDIA GTX 780 ti Superclocked GPU w/ ACX Cooler
In Jan 2014 my system cost me almost $2,000 to put together...
I have a custom build, but my daughter and her friends do most of the work on it which makes it somewhat cheaper. I'm not ready to upgrade the motherboard just yet, as much as I'd like to-my motherboard's just over 2 years old (AMD Phenom II X4 945 @3. GHz). Thanks for the info on your setup! ![]()
I've used dual monitors for work, and for some of what I do (and I work from home some), they'd make a huge difference. I have a friend who games with dual monitors, she just runs her game on one, and other things on the second.
ahahah eh I will miss this kind of things when next patch come out:
The dwarf haz moves! I would love to party with him. ![]()

LMFAO! Omg, that second one is hilarious! Also, I totally didn't realise Cullen actually starts dry humping the Inquisitor, LOL!

OMG I think I almost peed myself!
And he was totally getting boobage in that 1st one!

I know enough to buy what I need for my rig, I'm just not confident enough to put it all together from scratch! I've only ever swapped out easy stuff, like hard drives, GPU's and PSU's. With this one I picked out what I wanted and had someone put it together for me.
I work from home 100% (insurance company) and if I could fit 4 monitors on my work desk I would!
Honestly the fact they've set up a skyrim-esque world makes me think they intend to support DAI longer than previous titles. You don't put that much effort into creating a vast varied world only to drop it after 6 months - a year. Not to mention after talking to a friend about the end scene on the balcony and the after credits scene we think the writers definitely have big plans in mind, hopefully expansion pack sized ![]()
The second one happened to my Inquisitor when talking to Cullen because I managed to jump and start the conversation simultaneously. I floated around Skyhold in a panic and then fast traveled which fortunately fixed itLMFAO! Omg, that second one is hilarious! Smooth Inquisitor made my day. ![]()
I definitely see that element of Skyrim in Inquisition. I think they're heading in the right direction because when I first played Origins, I admit I was a little disappointed at having to watch my tiny footsteps treading over the map to represent our traveling across Ferelden because I started the game assuming I'd be able to travel the way I could in Skyrim/Fallout 3.
I think the writing and graphic design in Inquisition are spectacular, and it's really only the lack of immersion in the rest of the world that bothers me. I could walk around Skyrim and not care too much about the faction quests being separate from each other because the story basically revolves around how awesome you are and how you want to mould the world to your liking. There was a bounty system to punish you if you committed crimes but it honestly didn't affect anything. Meanwhile, Dragon Age asks you to make tough decisions based on questions of morality. In Inquisition, you're meant to be awesome but only in the context of how you affect the personalities and lives of the people you've (hopefully) grown to love and want to protect. The realistic social aspect of Dragon Age is what makes it such an attractive series and I'd like to have seen more character involvement in all aspects of Inquisition's gameplay, not just the main quests.
In the end I think they just haven't yet achieved the seamless blend of open-world travel and gripping character storytelling they were probably shooting for. I can't say I know what an ideal Dragon Age game would look like in the future but achieving it in Inquisition would have required even more than the 4 years of development time they've already had. It was hard enough working with a new engine, I imagine. Hopefully we'll get a lot of extra content in the form of DLCs. \o/
Wow, really? When I did the pro-templar quest and entered The Fade, the advisors said nothing to me from their cages! I had wondered if my game was glitching out. Guess it was.
Yeah, all "your" prisoners have something to say. Cullen's was good for the implied subtext for a romancing Quizz, but my favorites were the Duke's one, where the guard threatens to kill his children for lack of a confession, and Mother Giselle's, where you call her a heretic for questioning the Inquisition. I only wish we'd got something from Cassandra too, something like the bitter lines you get from her if you rock-bottom her disapproval. Few people ever get to see that, but it's such a powerful moment for her.
I do love that quest. It's a good cautionary tale of how far you could take your Inquisitor hype, even without Envy in your place, and complements Giselle's line about the Inquisition of old dropping their weapons when their purpose was fulfilled. The message of this quest made me really second guess some choices I was offered later in the game, things like stomping out opposition just to show you can, assassinating people because they annoy you, rubbing your power on people's noses, choosing kings and queens like you're picking a party outfit, deciding someone's life and death on a whim, parading someone's head on a pike for a cheap laugh... if you let hubris go to your Inquisitor's head, you can border very close to the future Envy showed you, which makes his snooping around in your mind and spinning not so wild tales out of what he finds there all the more creepy and foreboding.
ahahah eh I will miss this kind of things when next patch comes out:
Excellent.
The smooth moves! I actually snorted when laughing...
but it was so good!
I would have loved to see him actually wear the helmet in the battle scenes...I wonder why they cut it?
