...How do you get this mission? Is for siding with the Templars?
It's not a separate quest, all the scenes with Cullen in the Fade are part of the Templars recruitment mission.

Oh I don't know, he doesn't sound like he's in pain, just a bit absent, might just thinking about how lake Calenhan shapes like a bunny.
Well, this might be an interesting topic. Might worth a DLC no? Something about the relationship of Blood Magic & the Fade & Templar's magic & normal magic. And we get screen time of Cullen
Personally I'm also intrigued about what Cole mentionned about Templar hearing "songs". Since Templars can seal the Breach, they can use magic even if Cullen call it otherwise. ANother kind of magic maybe, but still magic in itself? Hmm...
I found myself fascinated with the Templars after Cole’s revelations. Until DAI they were just a bunch of men and women in skirts on lyrium, now the writers added made them more complex and intriguing.
Cole compares Templars to dwarves a lot but dwarves do not dream, as oppposed to the Templars. Which implies Templars lose the ability to do “common” magic, but lyrium grants them unique type of magic.
What are these “songs” the Templars hear that are more ancient than the gods? Is it possible that dwarves’ Stone is a huge chunk of sentient lyrium and templars get connected to it by consuming distilled lyrium? And who is this woman the Templars chase in their nightmares? (my Quizzy and I are jelly
).
I so wish to learn this! Hopefully, Bioware won’t drop this subject and gives some answers in DLC.

It kind of makes me wonder if I have been missing out on anything.
After reading about all this, I'm quite sure there's A LOT I've missed. I'm tempted to agree with Lola and just put it down until the bugs are fixed (after this current playthrough of course.) I was surprised also to realize that there is quite a bit of war table banter. My advisors have very seldom said anything at all. ![]()
I thought I'm done with cc...apparently I was wrong. I just played prologue another ten times try to get a better looking fem quizzie for my third playthrough, testing different hair style and color and all...
I NEED HAIR MOD!
Back to my male quizzie PT...

I don't think the bugs are as bad on Xbox as they are on PC. I have heard that some PC users are having a pretty crappy time of it.
On the upside my little Laurel is close to banging the commander! ![]()
This is quite off-topic, but since this is the thread where I lurk most, I'll post it here.
I haven't yet played the game (four years old computer
too bad), but I have been just reading Fifty shades of Grey. I will never be able to look at any Trevelyan the way I was until now ![]()

Weirdly, beside what had been stated otherwise, the second time I re-install the game & get things repaired, the banters had just flown in. Now I get the impression that Varric & Dorian can't stop talking. The war table banter had always been stable for me so...
Anyone on PC who get the physical copy: try to re-install the game & repair? It worked for me.

Varric should have written Fifty Shards of Grey if you go with Bull... I don't remember who mentionned this first on this thread but someone did. ![]()

Lol, they don't stop talking. I have Dorian (of course) and Vivienne at the mo and they are sassing each other out so much and Cass just makes her disgusted noise at them. ![]()

Interesting combination
Varric + Dorian + Bull (snarky snarky snarky)
Varric + Cole
Solas + Cole
Solas + Cass (wow, I never imagined before release that they'll get along so well)

I almost feel the same. I got the banter where Dorian and Varric bet on my success at least ten times. Finally by the end all I could repeat was for them to stop it! LOL
Seconded.

I know I'm coming in late on this, but this reminds me of something I very much wanted to see in game. Remember when we used to talk about how a breach in the Veil could lead to a total mixing of the real world and the Fade and that you might have no idea what was real. That would be cool.
So I was messing around in DA Keep and decided to make it where Leliana died in Origins to see what would happened. And in case anyone is curious. Nothing happened. Leliana was still alive and well in Inquisition. LoL. Was just curious.
Thing is... she already appeared in DA2 despite dying in DA:O, so it really shouldn't change.

Don't think I've seen this posted. *sigh* lovely. Kinda NSFW, so linked.

Yeah, she is talking about Cullen.
You can hear the conversation it's chained to around 3:05

I have gotten some of these and not others..of course I just finished my second playthrough and I will start the third soon....and I tend not to hang around the companions much.
I wonder what triggers them...if you can just sort of wait them out.
Spoiler
Could be. I'll have to watch out for that on my current Solasmance playthrough. I'm still... collating on all that.
Also something cool I just saw on Tumblr from the Temple of Mythal ... spoilers for one choice you make there.
She's much warmer to me two-thirds in than she was at the beginning. I think she adores me.
I might make my second male playthrough a wanna be Templar maybe that way I can do the BFF thing with her. lol
I actually don't mind her. I think she's wrong in a lot of ways but think she can be funny in a clever very cutting way....sort of like my grandmother. Who is very upper crust English...and has been know to destroy people with a few sharp words in a particular tone.
Seriously, running around the fellow mire with Dorian is like having an older brother tag along. Every time I am picking blood lotus by the waters edge he kind of glitches and always nudges we into the water then cue the waves of undead. ![]()

He did the same thing to me. You're not alone. And this was on Nightmare! You go in, you die, no question.

Haha, thats great. I love Dorian, I'm a male quizzy and have NEVER played a male in the DA series, just so I can woo him. I enjoy messing with my companions and running straight for a bit and when I turn around sharpley they all crash into each other while I watch.
Bravo to the male quizzy voice too. I remember trying to play male Shepard and his flat voice acting made me go fem shep every time. But male quizzy is nice and snarky too :-)
I love Dorian too! I watched his romance on YouTube and it was really good. Plus there was too hot guys hanging out nakey on a bed. And you're a big meany, by the way, having them all make fools out of themselves like that. I would never do such a thing.
Good god, Fifty shades of grey is an absolute travesty on the BDSM Community and erotica market. I could link you to a bunch of really good authors that post the most excellent sexy times, for free.
I get knocked off cliffs and things from my party all the time, it's kind of annoying lmao
