I crafted this one armour that I then remade in a bunch of different colours LOL!

 

I was too afraid of going through my materials to craft too much lol

 

Yeah. Looks like it'll only be if I kill some more dragons and craft another set, (or find something that looks cooler), will I get any better armour.

 

It was perfect for me since I finally had an armor that looked awesome and "right" on my Dalish guy. He looked rad in all his cut scenes, too. Too bad he couldn't have been wearing that in Skyhold.

 

EDIT: Just recalled, if you're playing a female it does look different Sorry about that. Male version is awesome.

So, you know earlier someone posted up those translated elven codexes? Did you notice how there was multiple mentions of orbs? Makes me wonder if there was more than just the one Corypheus had... maybe it's gonna be a thing in future DLC/games?

Just some gear. Good gear if you get it early, bad gear if you get it late to end game. The resistances are probably the best treasures from that God forsaken place.

I always assumed there was more than one orb, the way flemeth speaks of the orb at the end made it sound as if that one was just you know who's, it also explains why Corypheus was searching for eleven artifacts/ruins throughout the game. If just one of those orbs could create the breach imagine what kind of damage Corypheus, or a certain elf, could do with more. 

 

I'd say we're definitely going to get DLC relating to the elves and the remnants of the elven empire but I doubt the story line surrounding all that is strong enough on it's own to support an entire game, at least not right now. It's totally possible that a certain elf is going to do something monumentally stupid and well and truly screw up the world...again.

You get resistance belts at the end of each corridor, but the main prize is something a bit more decent.

So out of curiosity, I was tracing the origin of the term Cullenites and how far back we've been using it. LOL Looks like I first coined it on January 22, 2012. Back on page 33 of the old v.2.0 thread.
 

I don't know if any of you also participated in the Bioware writing contest to celebrate DA: Asunder, but I just read a wonderful, bittersweet story about young Cullen that Cullenites might appreciate. Atonement by suilven.

I just brought up a list of suffixes to test them out. Some funny results making me giggle.
Would we say we suffer from 'Cullenosis'? Are we 'Cullenoids'? 'Cullenites'? 'Cullenists'? This is becoming quite 'Culleniferous'! LOL

 
Cullenites slowly came into use, but with some other dark horses in the running for a while (LOL cullenators!). The rest, as we say, is history once Greg Ellis got involved in early 2014.

How do I promote Ser Barris in the throne room?

 

You need to finish his whole war table quest chain first, then the throne will be available to interact so you can promote him. And you possibly need to have allied with the Templars, not disbanded them. There are conflicting reports on whether you can promote him to captain of his men if the Templars are disbanded, but you can definitely promote him to Knight-Commander if you freely allied with the remaining Templars.

The loot is some resistance belts, fire/ice/spirit essences for runecrafting, and tons of gold, but the real benefit from the Temple is the resistances you get. Each tomb you raid gives you at least +4, +6, etc fire/ice/spirit resistance, which is very useful on higher difficulties. I'm practically immune to Venatori spellbinders and fire dragons on Nightmare now, just from the resistances gained from collecting shards.

Man, no kidding. What's also funny... or maybe sad, that's was right around when we started to attract the hate, after that concept art of him leaked. Probably because we were about to be "gifted" with Cullen somehow and were undeserving. LOL

Like Lola said, we were just women back then, but also... that was the whole point of the conversation to find a new name! (incidentally, it was someone else calling us that... rather kind, given all the other, less kind things we've called). To think, we could have been cullenoids. Or cullenators. LOL

In a previous tweet he said he would record the first sentence someone tweeted back, which was "No. This is ridiculous." I think since that was short he picked up a few more and then... I think it grew into a scene for him.
