I transfered Before I forget over to AO3 after finding it. Although I did all 4 chapters as a bulk post so sadly I may've lost readers there, because of the 16000 wordentry. I think I'll be posting my cutesy one-shots primarily to AO3 and gradually drift away from ff.net.

I like that it gives people much more freedom in liking/commenting without forcing an account on them. Much more user firendly too.

It is though. I've been with ff.net as an author since 2010 ._.

Yeah, it's been my home a looooooong time.

I have been contemplating transferring my stuff from tumblr to AO3 though since it is all basically one shots, so maybe that will be the start of a transition to there completely.

I just made a playthrough with a romanced Anders to see what would happen with the Seb stuff.

Considering my Hawke talked about them being together, but not actually being perfectly ok, I probably will just keep him dead in the next ones.  Too much angst for me.

My import had Hawke romancing Anders and keeping him alive. My favorite part was

Yeah, that's how I'm leaning.

Is it wrong that I like the higher traffic of AO3 and getting more hits in a limited amount of time? I'm starting to feel like a fanfic attention ****** /shot.

Also went edit happy on that last post, my apologies

Ah frak. So I am bugged. Thanks for the confirmation (everyone)! I ran around that freaking statue like 18 times looking for it this time. LOL

hmmm but:

Spoiler

there is 9 landmarks/points of interest on map, and quest says 8, one of them is probably not claimable, so maybe you missed some other one?

just a guess ...

I did this too,  although I did it on whim for the angst considering I never really played DA2.

Nope not bad.  I have all that stuff on tumblr and not FF for a reason, heh.  It gives warm fuzzies, and there is nothing wrong with that. ^.^

Yes. He does the opposite if you let Anders live. An outcome I will now ignore in my world, just like Alien 3 & 4. :/

I made the mistake of watching Alien 3 and 4 back to back this week, on one of the movie channels.  You should stick to your decision there!  ;)

How do you know you're playing too much DAI?  Well, you go to the shops, and walking back the wind starts to swirl around you and you hear this weird shrieking sound, and you think 'DRAGON!'.  Instead of 'jings, the wind's fair blowing between those 2 blocks of flats'!

Hope no-one saw me ducking!

Mentioning the long forgotten and perfectly ignored makes it remembered.....ugh Alien 3 & 4, go back to the shadows.

haha just don't make the mistake of addressing your friends like party members. You'll get strange looks, trust me, I know.

I really love AO3, I need to move my stuff over there, since at the moment all I have uploaded to them is a not finished smut involving Idunna.

It's hard to break away from FF though...

It is though. I've been with ff.net as an author since 2010 ._. Noticed with other fandoms they're much more updates via AO3 than ff.net. Seems the king of fanfic resources may be on its way out.

FF has been my primary fanfic resource since 2002 (avid reader there since gradeschool *^^*). I don't write but I really love reading. I've seen it change as time passes (they lost a lot of stories on their big system update and wiped some of accounts including mine <_<) and it just saddens me how a lot of people are leaving that site. I've actually heard about Archived from a friend two months ago but ignored her cause of my loyalty to FF. Glad I finally checked it out :D.   I'm still waiting for the email from Archived and can't wait to fully explore the site by then.  Only quirk though is I hope they fixed the layout after the beta of the site, sometimes it looks toocluttered for my liking but that's just me.

It has been in beta a LONG time.  Heh, I have started wondering if that is just how it is going to stay. :)

Grade school?! haha I didn't find it until high school and then was too intimidated to post writings until my freshman year in college. Granted, many of my earlier works were taken down simply because they were one-shots that I never followed through on.

Anyways, in all AO3 hosts a better system, so far, and it isn't as restrictive as ff.net. I can't comment on the beta as I just came upon its existence this week. You'll find more works on AO3 too.

Obviously, my loyalty isn't hard to win over.

FF took a long time too before they completely updated their system, so I'm not losing hope at archived :).

Yes, grade school xD A friend of mine introduced it to me cause my parents don't buy me books when they know I still have school cause they know I won't put it down lol!!

I know, right!?

I swear it came across (to me at least) like they were together because they just were, not because they were actually happy together.  Like one of those relationships ships where you love each other sure, but like?  Nah, not really.

I'm assuming it's different if you put that she supported the explosion stuff.

Ah I hadn't realized that... Despite having compared all my x's to the gg map already. Hmm. Maybe I am missing another. I'll have double check. It definitely only registers 7/8, so maybe there is a ninth Im missing. Thanks again!

Here, here. Let us bask in our good-ending worlds, where Viscountess Hawke, Guard-Captain Aveline and Knight-Commander Cullen spent the past three-fours years working together to clean up Kirkwall and protect its people, and now our Inquisitors can count on the valuable support of Prince Sebastian and Starkhaven's full strenght to continue reconstruction of the city, with all the donations he rounded up from the nobles houses of the Marches.

(Which also brings the added benefit of a 500% happier and less whiny Varric, too. For all that he gripes about Sebastian being too ~nice, no one else has taken as much initiative or put as much effort towards rebuilding Kirkwall as Sebastian does, so Varric can shush and suck on that. :P)

I am completely content with my killing Anders ending where no one acts sad or tries to raze Kirkwall to the ground in DA:I. ^.~

In many ways AO3 is the system we all would've designed. I think the downside is that the tags are *too* free form. Which makes it hard to search. There are like 10 different types of Dragon Age tags, in addition to all the character and pairing variations. I can't stand browsing there, TBH, Altho I love posting there.

I go there when I have a very specific pairing or whatever in mind that I want to read.  You're right about the tags being all over the place. :)

Lol, was I the only one that was like "right'o, see ya Stroud!" while tugging on Hawkes sleeve?

Don't think my Quizzy even blinked whilst making that decision.

Lucky you..it was Hawke vs Loghain for me. Urgh. I loved this old man. But I loved Anders more and I know he probably go super saiyan without Hawke(

Cullen doesn't really ever take insult to anything you say.

I like it. It reminds me when I was roleplaying in game with ''sharp-tongue'' Quizzy, and on that quest with Cole, when you are going to drink wine with him, she said smth like ''come on I don't want to hear sad stories let me drink'', he replied: ''Quick words hide a gentle heart. You wouldn't have brought me here if you didn't care''.

Love it when you can say not something too nice but they will know that you may have a bad day, but still want them by your side.

On a side note:

Leli and Cullen are rockin' this timing so hard lmao what the hell

P.S. Cullen, I think she is already on the table, so you can totally report in.

Oh dear goodness, when he said that all I could think was "You're right, jeez I do freaking care about you, you stupid little ghost boy"

I mean... my inquisitor thought that...
